Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Devil, Scheming Shu Feng
Shu Feng arrived at the center of the village after a few minutes of massacring and killing. He didn't even stop for any seconds, afraid that the more he delays the more the situation will get worse.
With all of his massacring ang killing, he earned a total of 2 145 SP since there are a lot of Nineth Stage Foundation Building Demon Beast and some weaker ones.
Looking at the wailing and shouts of the villagers, crying and shivering of the children made Shu Feng's eyes turn cold.
It was alright for him if they are sinful and evildoers but they are all powerless and innocent people.
"What is that red light shinning beneath their feet UG?" Shu Feng ask after calming his mind.
*Ding*
"The host could used 'Analyze' on the target." UG told him while changing the way he address Shu Feng.
Sometimes UG would address him with the word 'You' directly, but in some occasions for a certain reason, UG would address him using the word 'Host'.
Shu Feng walk towards the formation and touch it carefully with his index finger. He keeps his guard up in case there will be something that sneak on him.

Seeing the information about the formation, Shu Feng felt his blood turn cold.
Devil!
Just hearing this word made his body shivered up. He didn't know why but he must stop this formatipn no matter what.
"Can I directly used Basic Chaos Burst to destroy the formation?"
"No, bombarding the formation would kill the people inside. The only solution is to destroy the formation where it is standing but it will cause some deaths to the victims. The last resort is to remove the connection between the blood medium and the devil." UG replied to him.
Shu Feng didn't want anyone of them to die so he chose the second option.
"By choosing the second option, the one who would remove the connection should have a tough mentality or else the devil will corrode his mind or in some cases, it will enter his body and possessed him." UG suddenly interjected which made Shu Feng frown.
But thinking about it, the second option was still the best since their is not much casualties.
Shu Feng walk around the formation while trying to find someone. And when he saw Kei he immidiately call it over. Even though no one could move inside nor outside, they can still hear each other clearly.

"Do you remember what I told you?" Shu Feng ask in a grave tone.
Seeing his expression, Kei nodded fervently, knowing that the situation is serious.
"If you cannot even defeat the devil, then you can forget about following me from now on." Shu Feng added while speaking in a serious tone.
Well, he only said that in order to motivate Kei to not let the Devil corrode his mind.
He already told him what he should do, it was up to his ability if he could pull it or not.
And if it come to worse, he would bombard the surroundings of the formation to destroy where it is standing.
Although their will be some deaths, it was still better at least not a lot of them would die.
Maybe you are wondering why Shu Feng didn't ask those older people, it was because they are all normal people without any reliance.
Compared to Kei who has the bloodline of a Celestial and an Ancient Dragon that is not yet awakened.
And there is still something that he wants to test. If it was successful, then it would be Kei's lifetime fortune.

Kei walk towards the man in black cloak in the middle of the crowd.
He was trembling all over his body, he was after all a 12 year old kid so he was afraid of being corrode by the Devil.
After he arrive in front of him, he directly look towards the blade in his abdomen.
Base on his Big Brother Shu Feng, the blade serve as the connection to the Devil and the man was the Blood Medium.
He slowly approach it and put both of his hand into the hilt of the blade.
But as soon as he touch the handle, the eyes of the skull gave off a bloody aura that envelop him.
He tried to resist the bloody aura and attempted to pull out the dagger. But two cold hands suddenly grab his hand, preventing him from removing the dagger.
Kei was given a fright and immidiately tried to retreat but the grip was too strong.
He looked towards the man who grip his hands, it was unexpectedly the black cloak man.
His eyes were shining in blood red light and veins could be seen popping out of his face.
"Hehehe"
The man laugh in sinister tone making Kei shiver from fear.
Kei was dumbfounded at the scene in front of him, he cannot even move his body right now.
It was like he suddenly became a statue. He could only hear his heart beating. It's like everyone around him become silent.
"What is it that you want~?" A enchanting deep voice suddenly ring into his ears.
"What do I want?" Kei mumbled slowly.
"I want strength. I want to kill those who made ny parents suffer. I want to become the most powerful cultivator in the world."
"Yes~, yes~, that's it~. Desire for more~ and this Devil shall give you anything~." The voice once again resounded into his ears.
Unbeknownst to Kei, the man in black was slowly caressing his face and was talking close to his ears like a true Devil would do.
But Kei was not aware that he was slowly getting corrode by the Devil.
His eyes were slowly closing out and their color seemed to fade slowly. His grip into the blade was also loosening bit by bit.
"PULL THE DAGGER OUT NOW!" A shout suddenly reverberated through the center of the village making Kei abruptly woke up.
Shu Feng suddenly shouted when he saw that the time was right. It was like his shout was really in time.
'That's right, Big Brother Feng entrusted me this task.'
"Hah." With a child like shout. Kei mustered all of his strength and immidiately pulled the dagger out.
Thud!
With a sound of something hitting the ground, Kei fall down to the ground due to the all out strength he use to pull the dagger out.
"No!" A long terryfying shout came out from the black cloak man. And as soon as the shout ended, the man just fall to the ground and didn't move anymore.
Kei lay flat on the ground and panting heavily, he wants to rejoice. He was happy that he manage to pull the dagger out and save everyone.
'Shi'
A sound of dissipating could be heard as the formation slowly looses it's effect.
Everyone was exhilarated when they saw that they can finally go out.
But one person was not happy at all. It was Shu Feng, because he knows that this is just the start. And just like he predicted, a dark red aura was coming out of the body of the cloak man.
The aura directly shot out and entered inside Kei's body which made him flinch.
He was trembling all over and croaching. It was like something was destroying him from the inside.
Shu Feng immidiately dash in his direction and grab Kei before running towards a secluded direction.
Seeing the safe and sound villagers, Fu Tao sigh in relief. He was the Third Stage Core Formation who was in a deadlock with the Demon Beast.
He just look towards the direction of Shu Feng where he leaves and felt gratitude. He didn't know why did he suddenly leave but didn't mind it anymore.
"Everyone, kill all the Demon Beast and protect the villagers!"
"Kill!"

Shu Feng arrived at a cave far away from the village. He laid Kei onto the ground and waited patiently.
He appeared into the entrance of the cave and sat crossed-leg.
'Sigh, I hope it works.'

Inside Kei's body, a blood red aura was wondering around.
"Hmm, this kid's body is really perfect. It has even a little bit of a Celestial Bloodline. Such a hassle, it even damage me and manage to reduce my power, tch.
Luckily, it was not that powerful enough to resist me." The Devil talk to himself while wadering around Kei's body for further inspection.
After some wandering, he suddenly came near the heart. He was somewhat attracted and shivering just from staring at it.
He didn't know why but he knows that he was attracted because their is something delicious from it.
As you may know, Devils fed on the blood and flesh of a human. The more they are attracted to it means that it was good.
He didn't pay any attention to the shiver he felt. What can a mere non-cultivator do any harm to him?And what's more, he was weakened right now and needs something to replenish his strength.
So the Devil entered inside Kei's heart.

Shu Feng was observing Kei through his senses. Kei was trembling all over and will croach every part of his body like there was something inside it that is moving.
And this time, he suddenly croach his chest area where his heart was placed. After that, beads of sweat could be seen in his head.
'It seems like the Devil entered his heart.' Shu Feng thought without turning his head and just continued to sat crossed-leg.
The day that Shu Feng and Kei was travelling towards Demon King Forest, Feng ask UG how he could awaken Kei's Ancient Dragon Bloodline sooner. Because it was better to have it awaken earlier than waiting for it to wake up through his cultivation manual.
The first option that UG told him was to buy a pill that could awaken his bloodline instantly but the pills cost ten times much more than the cultivation manual that he bought for Kei, so that option was out.
The second option was finding some treasures that could help Kei. This option was also out.
The third option was out too since he needs to find a dragon to use bloodline suppression on Kei which in turn will awaken his bloodline.
The fourth option would have let Kei experience something that can threaten his life, but this kind of method is somewhat very dangerous and may cause his life.
The fifth option would let something directly and forcefully awaken his bloodline or something that would attempt any disturbance to the unawakened bloodline.
There are a lot of option that UG told him about and since the presence of the Blood Sacrificial Formation and the Devil was very timely, he tried to take the risk.
He wants to take a gumble on the fifth option. When the Devil entered Kei's heart, that is when everything will be decided.
Since Kei has the Bloodline of the Celestial, the Devil would weaken when he tried to enter his body.
When he was at the weak state, he would desire to recover his strength and since the heart is the one that circulates our blood, he would surely enter that place to absorb some blood.
But there is one more thing, his Ancient Dragon Bloodline was deeply slumbered in his heart.
As for how he knows, of course he inquired it from UG since he was not adept into this kind of things.
On the other hand, he also told Kei that if he manage to overcome the Devil, then that would be the day he became strong. That's what Shu Feng said the day that he was instructing Kei how to cancel the formation.
Even the time that he shouts was also timely in order for the devil to barely got summoned resulting in him reducing it's strength by half. Combined with the effect of Kei's Celestial Bloodline, the Devil's strength would get reduce one more time.

'I think all those preperations would be enough for the Ancient Dragon's bloodline to awaken from its slumber.' Shu Feng thought while sighing inwardly.
He ask himself why did he become so scheming suddenly.
All in all, it was Shu Feng who was scheming everything. Of course he could not pull it off without the appearance of the formation.
That means he just think of this scheme when he knows about the purpose of the formation.
What a scheming Shu Feng. He even somewhat felt proud of it. He didn't know that he was very wise.

"Sigh, at least it was stopped at the mome– Wait! What? It was only stopped at the moment?!" Shu Feng suddenly shouted which reverberated throughout the cave.
Shu Feng sigh inwardly and swear that he won't scheme on other people again. Even being wise is not plausible so he will just accept scheme at the moment.
