Everything is deadly silent as the masses stared blankly at the human figure kneeling at the center of the crater while holding a sword as his support.
His head was facing downwards making his hair fall down which totally covered his face. But no one could stand against his current condition. Not only his vitality seemed to be slowly fading away but his whole physical condition is already at it's worse!
The skin in his upper body was nowhere to be found! It was like he gpt skinned perfectly which could make anyone stare at it only to be terrified at the end!
Blood trickled down with a dripping sound as it satisfied the hunger of the soil.
Shu Feng still has his eyes close as he silently endured the pain! He would have never thought that he could survive that Tribulation Lightning with his weakened state! He thinks that he would die at that moment and be revive on the spot which could make him alive as new!
He wanted to kill himself right now just to trigger his Instant Recovery but there are a lot of prying eyes and making them witness his revival is something that could surely attract unwanted attentions.
And he didn't want to waste even one Instant Recovery as long as he could stay alive. It has a number limit after all. But looking at his pitiful state, even if he wanted to commit suicide, he can't right now since all of his muscles seemed to be drained from all of it's strength makimg Shu Feng unable to perform any action!
Maybe he could just make his Chaos Energy run in turmoil inside his body and end his suffering but he needs something to cover him as to prevent any prying eyes.
It was already a miracle that he was able to survive the Tribulation even if he is already fatally injured from the explosion a while ago. Maybe it was due to his luck that keep his life until now.
Luckily, Shu Feng has a Passive Skill that he get from his Bloodline which is the Life Regeneration. It enables him to regenerate any lost Life Energy and which in turn heal his injuries and could even make him younger!
Life Energy is the essence of someone's life. Since the day they are born, life energy had been with them. As they grow old, the amount of this energy they possessed slowly fades away which makes someone look old.
As Life means young, the older you grow the more Life you spend. This is how the world works. As for where did that Life Energy go when they fade away from an individual, no one knows. But one thing is for sure that everything is happening in a cycle. As a newborn came to the world, a new life had began. And as it grew old, it spends it's life energy which in turn fades away and go backs to where it came from until all of his Life Energy was gone and then using that Energy, a new life would rise again.
That's why everyone has a lifespan that could be either shortened or extended. Take for example when someone reach a certain level in cultivation, their Life Energy increases which in turn expand their Life Span.
But if someone failed in their cultivation, their Lofe Energy would leak out frenziedly which could make the cultivator grow old quickly and die faster. It is like their lifespan is being suck away.
Not only that, since life means our very own being, that means that if we took damage physically or spiritually, our Life Energy would be spent depending on how worse the damage we sustain.
And right now, Shu Feng has a passive skill that could regenerate his Life Energy as long as there is enough Energy he could use. But the damage he is suffering right now is too much even for his skill to be able to instantly heal him.
And right now that he is completely exhausted, he couldn't even enforce his skill using Chaos Energy since his Chaos Pool is on the brink of emptiness and you know what that means?!
It means that he won't be able to constantly supply Chaos Energy to his Vortices and which could lead to the lack of Energy to nourish his Inner World.
And if the energy supply was cut off, it could create a burden to his cultivation in the near future and that would cause him great problem.
Although it could stand on it's own for a short period of time without the nourishments, but right now that his greedy core is inside, it would surely devour the Chaos Energy at his Inner World if he couldn't give it enough Energy to consume!
So he couldn't just carelessly use the remaining Chaos Energy to regenerate. Originally, Shu Feng thought that he would die at the moment that the Tribuation struck and just use the commotion as the opportunity to revive instantly after his death since the Tribulation is a perfect cover. After reviving, he might still take some damage from the Lightning but he is confident he could withstand it with his full strength ready.
But the thought of always relying on the Instant Recovery to overcome all of the perilous situations made him indignant. He didn't want to just let himself die without even a single resistance!
So when the Tribulation struck him, he instantly absorb the Lightning inside his body directing it to his meridians that is covered with his Chaos Energy towards his Inner World which in turn suffered from the wrath of the Heavens!
Luckily, his greedy core seemed to have smelled something delicious as it immidiately suck all the Tribulation Lightning that has entered his Inner World without leaving any trace behind!
For god's sake! That is a freaking Tribulation with the power to eliminate anyone at the Early Stages of Emperor Realm! And yet a mere ball absorbs it just like drinking a water! The ball ate it to be exact.....
Just like what previously happened, the Tribulation Lightning entered the core and some kind of vortex like image would wiggle around after it entered and then instantly disappear right after. Some residue lightning that is not absorb by his core was excreted out and continuosly revolved around his core without daring to even touch it like someone who just excreted a poop and didn't want to touch it but in this case, it was the 'poop' or the excreted tribulation lightning that didn't dare to touch the core!
Shu Feng wish that he could take his greedy core out and let it devour the Tribulation Lightning instead of enduring it himself.
The only advantage in feeding that core of his is that he would be able to save some Chaos Energy from his Chaos Pool and during that time, he used most of his Energy to restrict the Tribulation Lightning that keeps on entering his body into his Dantian and was soon devoured by his Core.
But in result, he is on the brink of El Niño with his Chaos Pool being almost depleted to the bottom!
He wanted to buy a bunch of pill and gulp it in one go but he can't move an inch right now! So how would he take pills if he cannot even make his hand twitch slightly. In short, his whole body is completely paralyzed and only his mind could wander in thoughts!
