Chapter 1: Prologue
It all happened so suddenly. One moment Harbor was enjoying her day, relaxing in the sun outside her family's beach house in Cuba. The next, she received a single phone call, which set her fate in stone; her family was dead. They drowned during a shipwreck while trying to rescue other passengers on their cruise. Harbor was ravaged with a deep agony, which tore apart her very soul.
Harbor's agony was so intense her heart tore in two, caused by the sheer sorrow Harbor went through, which lead to her death. But before she died, she whispered a special adage that her family followed for centuries.
"Et Gloria Aqua Spiritus Est Scriptor" Harbor whispered with such intensity, that the ocean beside her halted, for a split second, as if in awe of her words, before the water rose, and took Harbor's corpse, to the depths of the ocean, never to be seen again. Or so we thought.
