Chapter 20: Humanity's Protector

It's been a few days since the exorcists arrived. They go around Kuoh in hopes of finding the excalibur pieces.
While William also encpuntered a certain psycho priest. The priest tried to harm Asia so you know the drill, he died.
~Flasback no jutsu~
Night, Asia was just going back from the market. She bought ingredients as they already ran out of it.
When she was just a few meters away from the apartment. A man stopped her and smiled evilly.
"Asia-chan~ we meet again. Kukuku I'm so happy"
"F-freed-san?" She said looking frightened, who wouldn't right? You face a psycho priest that loves killing.
"Hey you pervert! Stay away from her" A young man suddenly appeared facing Freed.
"And who are you? little shit" Freed said feeling irritated.
"Sigh* I would've let you live longer if you didn't went to find me." William shook his head.
"What do you-" Freed couldn't finish his sentence when his head slid down separated from his neck. Blood spurt out of the but William burn the corpse fast.

And now William was just lazing around on his apartment. Currently team vali is here but of course without vali.
William is currently playing chess with Arthur. Arthur was the one who challenged him first and now he is on a winning streak.
"Checkmate, you lost again Arthur hahaha" William laugh "That's my 15th win in a row"
"Tsk, Let's go again, I will win this time" Arthur gritted his teeth and challenged William again.
"You've also said that previously and you still lost. Well I guess if your ready to lose again, I'm alright." William grinned
"B*stard!" Arthur griited his teeth and they started another game. And as usual it ended as William's win.
"Tsk....Anyway, William tonight Kokabiel will attack the devils." Clicking his tounge in annoyance Arthur said.
"Hmm...Maybe I should teach him a lesson. I'm sure Azazel already planned something about this so he can strike a peace treaty"
"It is possible" Arthur replied after thinking.
"Well we could watch them tonight. I'm going to have fun hehe"

That night above a building in Kuoh Academy, William and the gang waited. They made sure they were not detected and waited for the show to begin.
A few moments later Kokabiel appeared and started saying his speech about wanting to restart the great war and shit.
He then beat up the devils with the exorcists. They couldn't do anything as they are too weak besides their enemy is a cadre class fallen angel.
William had to held back Kuroka as they watch Kokabiel beat up the devils, koneko included. He said to let this become a lesson for her to grow and he promised Kuroka to step in if Koneko got in danger.
That finally stopped Kuroka from stepping in.And at last Kokabiel said something that shocked those who heard him. Well except William who already knows.
"Oh right since I'm starting a war. Let me say this God died along with the four satans in the great war!" He said in a loud voice.
"I-it can't be.." The most shaken was the two excorcists who was dumbfounded.
"god...died?! That's ridiculous!" Rias bellowed in disbelief.
"Hahaha it's true, but the leader of the 3 factions kept it a secret" Kokabiel merely replied as he evilly smirk. Suddenly his expression changed "Hmn?"
He turned at a certain building where William along with team vali is. Asia and Ravel who live with William too is with them.
"And who are you all?" Kokabiel angrily asked
While the others were also surprised seeing William and others. Especially a certain white haired loli.
"Nee-san..." She said in a low voice, her f
expression became complicated.
"Shirone..."
"That's not important, and since you've got your fun. I should mine too right, before someone pick you up" William flew towards Kokabiel and stopped a few meters away.
"Hmm? You're a human?" Kokabiel asked with an intrigue expression.
"Of course, I'm 100% human. And as a human I should thank you for what your doing for humanity but I can't let you involve countless innocents just to fulfill your goal" William said, he knew the reason for what Kokabiel is doing is to protect humans. That's because he is the angel who watch humans and love them the most which he even chose to fall just to protect them.
He plans to start the great war so the supernatural races like devils will perish and can't harm humans. William was thankful that he would go to such lengths just to protect humans but his method are wrong for William.
"Why are you thanking him William, he wants to cause another great war you know?" Arthur who is a distance asked but William shook his head "You don't know the real reason, I will tell you later"
"You...know?!" Kokabiel was surprised, by what William said he(William) knows his(Kokabiel) plan. He hid his true purpose so no one should know.
"Yes but I'm sorry I don't agree with your method of doing things" After saying that, William abruptly vanished before appearing behind Kokabiel.
He kicked him downwards which sent Kokabiel to the ground.
Bang!
A loud sound was heard and they saw Kokabiel inside a crater. He slowly stood up but instead of being angry he has instead an excited expression.
"As I thought humans really aren't just play things of other race. They can become strong, and you're proof of that." Kokabiel said in an excited voice.
"That's right humans can protect themselves, so you don't need to do drastic things. Just watch over them like what you use to do. And instead of causing a great war, why don't you train them so they can protect themselves. Form a group to protect humans, that's a better solution isn't it?" William said as he persuade Kokabiel to think carefully. He also knows about the horrible things pther supernatural races do to humans.
So he can understand Kokabiel's reason for wanting to kill all supernatural race. Even he has some thoughts of doing so, cause even though he is not an original of this world he is also human. William admired Kokabiel as he protected humanity even at the cause of him falling. He is humanity's protector since ancient time.
As Kokabiel listened, he stared at William. He know William was strong, stronger than him even, with the last kick he got injured, all his internal organs were misplaced. And he can also feel massive amounts of mana from William.
Others may not notice but he as a veteran can see it. The amount is seemingly endless and it was dense. He smiled thinking that maybe humanity can protect themselves too.
"Oi Vali come out!" They heard William shout in the air. Then a young man wearing a draconic looking armor appeared.
"Azazel ordered me to take him" Vali pointed at Kokabiel who is still in the crater. There was blood flowing at the corner or his mouth due to internal injuries.
"Do what you will but tell Azazel 'Don't kill Kokabiel' I have something to talk to him about." Vali nodded and took Kokabiel who didn't resist and let Vali took him.
"Now then let's leave too" William turned to his gang and walked towards them.
