Chapter Eighty-nine: The Awakening

Seeing the tightly shut door in front of them, the children then started to act in a hysterical manner. 

"Waaaah! We are going to die!"

"Waaaaah! I want my mommy!"

Some were weeping on the floor, and some were running around whilst crying until they sore their throats. The room was entirely covered by the whimper, cries, and whines that made Haneul and Ari to look at each other and then showed off a worried expression. Just how chaotic the room would be because of the children inside? And what are they even doing when the ground is still shaking? Haneul even wanted to ask Ari why she was not crying when everyone was doing so, but she knew Ari very well. 

Being drowned by her own thoughts for a minute, Haneul flinched when she felt a tiny finger poking her hands. And it was then followed by a cry from a little boy who was from a crying session together with his fellow little children.
