Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Ken vs Cra [Part 2]
Wasting no time at all, using both of his hands, Ken created a weapon that looked like a spear purely made out of lightning. He aimed it at Cra and disappeared. Cra looked around in terror wondering where Ken vanished off to, and then Ken reappeared behind Cra.
Ken spoke in a tone as if he were looking down on Cra.
"You look a little scared there Cra the Crusher, don't tell me you can't keep up with my speed. After I went through the trouble of using this form, you can't possibly let me down now."
"ARGH!! I'LL CRUSH YOU!"
Cra swung his fist back, attempting to hit Ken head-on, but before it could even come close to hitting Ken, he disappeared again all you could see were the sparks of electricity he left behind. He appeared behind Cra once again and whispered.
"Since I'm starting to feel bad for you, I'll finish this off quickly."
Cra turned around as quickly as he could but by the time he was able to react Ken had already distanced himself away from Cra; Ken held the spear in his hand as if he was about to throw it.
"How is Ken able to teleport like that!"
"It's not teleportation, that's just how fast he is now..."
"Before we were able to see some of his movements, now it's just impossible."
"I knew that he was skilled... this is just on a whole other level though."
Zad stared at Ken in wonder, thinking about how strong he could be. To Zad, Ken was nothing short of amazing. Zad realised that he needed to get stronger, an adventure with someone like Ken would definitely bring him up against many tough opponents including the troll they would need to face soon.
Ken sprung up into the sky with the spear in his hand ready to throw. Cra wanted to move out the way to avoid the attack, but he couldn't. Was it because he was filled with fear? No that wasn't it, it was because he wasn't the type of person to run away from danger. Cra prepared to take the attack head-on and tried to block it with everything he had.
He put both his hands out, ready for the attack.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, THROW IT RIGHT AT ME!"
Ken's eyes widened shocked from hearing that. He was going to throw the spear near Cra, but a direct attack could prove to be fatal. At the same time, he couldn't refuse Cra's request since his pride wouldn't allow him to do so.
"Are you sure? You might die..."
"I SAID THROW IT!"
"Fine..."
Ken shot down the spear as hard as he could directly towards Cra's hands. The spear made of lightning clashed with Cra's red aura, but it was no use, he was being overwhelmed and slowly pushed back as the attack started to pierce through his mana. Ken landed back onto the ground and reverted into his normal state.
All he was doing now was waiting for the inevitable he may have been able to soften the blow, but the worst part was yet to come. Cra had reached his limit, and the aura over his gauntlets started to fade away, the lightning spear had reached his iron gauntlets melting them away.
The moment the lightning made contact with Cra's skin, the shock from the attack travelled through his entire body. Cra screamed in pain as he was being shocked repeatedly. Zad ran over to Ken with the innkeeper not too far behind him.
"Ken isn't there a way to stop this!"
"I'm afraid not."
"If we don't stop it, he might really die!"
"He knew that before blocking the attack, stopping him now would make his efforts meaningless."
"But..."
"Your friend is right if he can't handle an attack like this everything he's lived for up until now would have been for nothing."
Ken, Zad, and everyone else awaited the outcome of this battle.
