Chapter 15: Unwanted Truths
In the next morning, Hiroki was leaving the Konoha gates along with Hiruzen, Jiraiya and Orochimaru towards Suna. They were to meet Rasa in the Kazekage building.
After three hours of traveling Jiraiya started complaining.
"Gaki, why don't you teleport us there instead of us walking all the way. Or summon Kurowashi and fly us there."
"You intrigue me Hiroki-kun. You can teleport and you also have a flying summon. I'm wondering what else you'll surprise me with." Orochimaru said.
"Don't worry Orochimaru-san. You'll know in due time." Hiroki said. He then looked at Jiraiya and said: "Jiraiya-san, I have a hunch that we'll meet some friends on the border of wind country."
"Hiroki-kun, what do you mean by friends? Are you suspecting someone trying to get rid of us?" Hiruzen asked.
"We'll know when the time comes Sandaime. Let's just travel normally. I have an idea and I'll tell you guys on the way." Hiroki said.

Two days later, close to the border between the fire country and wind country, Hiroki was following the path to Suna along with Hiruzen, Orochimaru and Jiraiya.
"Let's hurry. There's a sand storm on the way. We need to get there before it hits. Three more hours of traveling should do it." Jiraiya said as they hurried their pace.
As they continued traveling, ten men showed up in front of them. They were all wearing clothes that were common in suna. They had their faces covered with white porcelain masks.
"Stop right there Konoha filth. You are not welcome in Suna. We'll get rid of you and that treaty will never be signed." The one in front of the group said.
"Ahahaha. You guys are too funny. Hehehe." Hiroki said between laughs.
"What do you mean Gaki." Jiraiya asked.
"You see Jiraiya-san, the treaty between Suna and Konoha is confidential and only the higher ups from Konoha knows about it. I specifically told Rasa to not say a thing about it until we arrived in Suna. Differently from Konoha, the Kage in Suna doesn't need the approval of the clan leaders and council to sign any treaties that benefits them. Meaning they are all fake Suna shinobi. They are probably some men sent to try and stop the treaty." Hiroki explained.
"We got a smart ass here. Doesn't matter. We'll kill you and Suna will be blamed, thus creating a war between both villages." The leader said.
"Jiraiya, protect the third. Orochimaru, help me deal with them. Let's not kill them. We need them alive to get information." Hiroki said as he made five shadow clones.
The ten men hurried their way towards Hiroki and Orochimaru with their kunai, blades and swords pulled. Hiroki and Orochimaru kept themselves in the defensive for the whole time as they were trying to capture them instead of killing.
After five minutes of stalemate, one of them struck Hiroki with a sword on the heart.
"One down. Three more to go." The guy said before he was interrupted by Hiroki's laughter.
"Hehehe. You guys are just too funny." Hiroki said as he disappeared in smoke.
"Fuck. It's a shadow clone. Where is he?"
"I'm right here. Earth style: great mud river." Hiroki said as he punched the ground, transforming where the enemies where standing on, in mud.
"Earth style: Earth Dragon Bullet." Hiroki weaved hand seals again, transforming the mud into a dragon that sent bullets towards his enemies. They were all trapped in the mud and didn't have any way to get out as the earth bullets hit them dead on. All ten of them were knocked out after the rock bullets hit.
"Help me seal their chakra and tie them up." Hiroki said.
After they finished, they placed all ten in a circle and took out their porcelain masks.
"What's the meaning of this?" Hiruzen asked in anger when he saw who these men were.
"Well, I told you that we would find some friends along the way. These are all men under Danzo. They are members of root. This should not surprise you." Hiroki said.
"He's right old man. Danzo has been doing the dirty work all this time under your nose. And this now as well. These men were sent to kill us and then use our deaths as a means to start a war against Suna." Jiraiya said.
Hiruzen could only shake his head, trying not to believe what they said.
"They have seals on their tongue. This seal is used to force them to stay quiet in case they are captured. Good thing I'm a seals master." Hiroki said as he started working on removing the seals.
"Ask them what you want to know. I've modified their seals and they are forced to talk and tell the truth." Hiroki said to Hiruzen.
Hiruzen then went to the one that was the leader and started asking questions.
"Did Danzo send you? What purpose does he have in killing us?"
"Yes, Danzo sent us. He wanted us to stop you from signing the treaty with Suna. He said Konoha doesn't need allies and is strong on it's own."
Hiruzen getting the answer he didn't want to believe, made him feel a few years older.
'Danzo, what has happened to you? You wished to protect Konoha and it's will of fire. I can't believe this is the old friend I once knew.' Hiruzen thought to himself.
"As I have told you, Danzo is someone you can't trust. You have put power in his hands and he has gotten drunk from it. He's been expanding his private army behind your back all these years with the escuse of protecting Konoha from the shadows." Hiroki said.
Hiruzen stayed silent for some time. He then asked Hiroki to teleport them to the T.I. Headquarters for imprisonment and questioning.
As Hiroki had done that, he came back and teleported Hiruzen and the others directly to Rasa's office.
"Sorry for the wait Kazekage-dono. We found some problems on our way here." Hiruzen said.
"Good to see you Hokage-dono. I wish I could receive you better, but I would like to hurry and sign the treaty of alliance. I'll show you around the village after that." Rasa said.
Everyone then went to the meeting room. Hiruzen and Rasa signed the bilateral treaty, thus creating the first true alliance between two villages. Rasa then took the Konoha entourage to the village. The inhabitants of Suna had a huge party.
Hiroki and the others stayed overnight and got up early in the next morning to leave for Konoha.
"I hope you four have a good travel back to Konoha. And once again, thank you for this alliance. I hope our villages have a great future ahead together." Rasa said when he bid farewell.
As Hiroki started walking back to Konoha with the others, Jiraiya grumbled.
"Gaki, can't you get us back to Konoha instantly? Why walk all the way?"
"You're getting lazy Jiraiya-san. Sandaime hasn't complained at any moment about traveling. You've already complained twice. What will happen if I'm not around and you need to travel great distances?" Hiroki asked.
Jiraiya didn't have any answer for that as he just shut up. Orochimaru and Hiruzen found the situation funny and laughed.
"Kuchiyose." Huroki said as he slammed his palm on the ground. Kurowashi then appeared after the smoke cloud cleared.
"Took you some time kid. I'm finally able to stretch my wing. Where are we going?" Kurowashi asked.
"First, let me introduce you to Orochimaru-san and Sandaime, Hiruzen. They're going to come with us along with Jiraiya-san to Konoha." Hiroki said.
"Huuuum. This one smells like a snake and the other smells like a monkey. I like eating snakes." Kurowashi said in a serious tone. After seeing Orochimaru taking a step back, Kurowashi laughed loudly. "I won't eat you. Hahahaha. Alright, hop on. We'll be in Konoha in no time." Kurowashi said.
As they climbed on Kurowashi, before Orochimaru and Hiruzen could hold onto anything, Kurowashi flapped his wings. In the next moment, they were already above the clouds. Hiruzen and Orochimaru had their hearts beating faster then ever. This got a laugh out of Kurowashi, Hiroki and Jiraiya.
