Chapter 3: Red Star Pattern
The System prompt cause a huge terror around the world, every single person didn't expect the announcement, and they only have a year to prepare before the portal that will invade their world open, and so humanity holds a worldwide conference where they though many plans against the invaders of their planet.
People don't know how strong the monster that will invade them exactly, and they don't even know if they have enough power to survive against this catastrophe, but one thing for sure is that they will suffer greatly in this war.
Some people start training right away the moment they receive the announcement while some cowers and wait for their death since most of the people didn't receive a job meant for fighting.
People then start hunting beast that spawns around the world, the thing is those monsters that they are hunting didn't exist the moment they receive the system 80 years ago, but they just suddenly spawn after the announcement of the system.
That is also the day when they discovered the level up system, where they can get even stronger rather than fighting and killing people with no gain and by killing and hunting a beast they will be awarded experience points, and the more they leveled up the stronger their job gets, they can even receive additional ability after they reach enough levels.
1 year 2 months and 8 days later, the invasion occurs and it was a bloodbath a pure massacre and destruction, the numbers of the human population is around 20 billion and it became around 13 billion and 80 years later it increases to about 15 billion (Au: It's a huge number of the population but just go with it :D).
Now that the invasion happened it reduces to 10 billion and it keeps decreasing, the war of defense and invasion last to a hundred of years, leaving the result of complete destruction of all the city and continent around the world and about 5 billion human population remains, but still the resilient and survivability of human tenancy is evident, as they force the enemy to retreat and survive another win.
On that day the moment the human triumphs against their enemy another system prompt appears.
[Congratulation Humans, you who have no chance of winning a year ago has won against a powerful enemy and so the mighty celestial praise you. The reward that the mighty celestial has given to your race is a complete renovation of your planet.]
[Because of the war against the invaders and the power that you, human has shown most of the lands became barren and wasteland, leaving no signs of animals life or plants, the sea or water source has been diluted of rotten blood and bodies leaving it poisonous and dangerous for human life.]
[It will happen in only a matter of seconds so don't worry as your life will be safe during this complete renovation.]
After that, the system has gone silent and moments later a deafening sound can be heard around the world and all the 5 billion people were shrouded by light and teleported somewhere, massive tsunami, volcano eruption, an extreme earthquake was constantly happening and after a while, all of that stop and numerous light suddenly appears before the land.
[Welcome to your new world that you call 'Gaia' according to you humans back in the old world you have 5 continents and so this planet has also had 5 continents, this planet is thirty times larger than earth and this planet where move elsewhere since it was so large it will not fit in your old solar system.]
[Also, this planet contains other races, spirits, and beast, etc. But you don't have to worry since most of the plants and animals here is similar to the earth, this is the start over of your race humans, enjoy it while you can. Good luck!]
After that the system disappears leaving them silent, they try to look into their stats thinking that they can't use it anymore but in this new world they naturally felt anxious and tense but at the same time they were excited and so many people choose their own path, some people choose to eave and travel to meet other race, some people want to go around the world to learn of what kinda planet they are in, and some people choose to stay and stick to others to play it safe since they don't know if their new planet is safe.
With that 217 years have passed and the civilization of the human race have grown significantly and in this 217 years, human discovered other races they were, Elves, Dwarfs, Orcs, Beast, Devil, Demons, and Angels. But humans learned that you will not encounter demons and angels easily since they are restricted to come in the mortal world so the other races say.
The other races also have their own system every individual in every race has their own system and respectable levels and because of the war of invasion that happened in the previous planet of humanity their levels are naturally high, and so they didn't lag behind in levels compared to other races.
In those 217 years, new laws and restrictions were enforced and humanity also builds a peace treaty with the other races. Because of the existence of different races in Gaia, mixed-race was born, some races thought that this was an insult. A brazen act and disrespect to own races and that was the elves since they always thought they're the race closes to god, so they are quite arrogant.
Many were born a mixed-race and at first, they thought that mixed-race is a shameful act a race that is going against creation, they are mixed blood, so they were not easily accepted in the society at first but years past and people didn't even now care if you're a half-blood or not.

In a town called Vardis (Au: Sorry I called this 'Phora' instead of 'Vardis') An old shack can be found in there a boy named 'Lax Kneli' live for 7 years, Lax appearance is quite unordinary because he has a colored white and black hair, the same thing in his sharp jade-colored eye, Lax was quite handsome, he also had a nice diamond facial shape and he is also quite tall for his age.
He was only 10 years old when both his parents died in an accident since then he started to live on his own, he didn't know anyone who's related to him other than his parents so he chooses to survive and endure the hardship on his own.
When Lax became 12 years old he tries to find some work so that he can feed himself and not starve to death, but due to his young age, he didn't find any or not qualified and suitable for the job. Fortunately, he found a simple job in a blacksmith workshop and he just needs to deliver them some logs or any woods that they can use and they will pay him some.
Even though he is very young his mind is mature enough to assume that the owner of the blacksmith pitied him, that's why he let Lax sell him some logs or woods to use for his smiting. And of course Lax will not decline the job that already in front of him, so he accepts it even if he can only earn a little.
Years past and Lax has aged 17 years old, because of the different work he attended to every day, he manages to live a normal life without relying on others.
Lax woke up and stretch a little after finishing all the work he had yesterday, but he finds it strange that he didn't felt any fatigue of laziness at all, but Lax didn't think about it that much since he is a mixed-blood of a human and a beast, so he thought that his strength and stamina came from his blood beast.
~Yawn~
"I'm still sleepy," Lax said in a deep voice while trying to get up.
"What day is it again?" Lax said as he sits up in his bed.
Then he remembers that this day is the 3rd try of awakening his system.
"There's still time but I wish I could finally receive my status," Lax said in anticipation.
"Well even if I receive my status now I'm pretty sure I'm not going to receive anything that goes for my primary job hahaha." Lax laughs, but you can clearly see the disappointment in his face even though his laughing in joy.
Moments later Lax suddenly notices the red star pattern in his palm and suddenly he remembers something that he cannot forget in his whole life.

'AHHHH!!! RUN! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!'
'NO! HELP!! ANYONE HELP! PLEASE HELP MY DAUGHTER!'
'NO I CAN'T DIE LIKE THIS, I PROMISE HER THAT I WILL BE BACK AFTER THIS... PLEASE SAVE ME...'
It was a place full of chaos, blood, and ripped apart bodies, many people were calling for help, others were just trying to run or accepted death while some people are trying to help one another.
But even though there's chaos currently happening, a man that is full of blood with his left legs and arms cut off is currently leaning in a boulder while talking to a kid.
'I'm sorry son, this is the only thing I can give you, it's our clan's pattern you can find them and let them known that you are my son. Son of Archis!' He smiles and continues.
He struggles to move his right arm that's full of blood and uses it to pull Lax's right hand and draw a pattern using his blood, as he drew a pattern a flickering red dot can be seen, and moments later after he finished the pattern evaporated and sink into Lax's hand like a tattoo.
'This pattern is my only inheritance for you, I don't know what's this about but your grandfather said that this had been pass down to generation and the other so no one knows what exactly is the purpose of this, but this can't be easily be given to others since this uses one's life when being drawn.'
'It will know if you're a descendant or not, remember to live happily. Don't forget that your mother and I will love you so much! Good luck my son!' Lax father smile then suddenly a huge shadow appears behind Archis, it wraps Archis using its tentacle and swallows him whole, then multiple voice and footstep can be heard it only means that reinforcement from the city has arrived but it was all too late.

Lax wake up on his daydream, remembering that day making him hate himself for being weak a deep hatred and killing intent suddenly erupt on Lax a faint aura can be seen while the pattern on his right arm shines in a moment but he didn't notice it as he tries to burn the image and the name of the monster that he will slay for sure if he became stronger.
'Maroon Taurens' an earth-wind elemental spirit, it's the spirit beast who killed and swallow both his mother and father.
But while Lax is in his thoughts he was suddenly interrupted by an unfamiliar tone in his mind.

Phora is a City and Vardis is a Town, I mixed them together and forgot that Vardis is the town, not phora.
