Chapter 2: Things like this happen..
"Jin is everything done?" Namjoon asked.
"Ne. That is all." Jin said.
They paid the bill and headed home. As they headed home and rang the bell, they were greeted by a wide smile, from Taehyung.
"Namjin!" He said.
"Oh, you guys came. Let me take those." Jimin came and took them and headed to the kitchen and helped Yoongi at the kitchen.
"So, where is Y/n?" Jin asked.
"She is at the cafe." Taehyung replied.
"Ok. I'm going to pick up Hobi. I'll see her on my way." Jin said and took his car keys and drove to the cafe, Y/n worked.
He reached soon and got down. He entered and waited for Y/n.
Y/n came out from the staffs room, wearing her apron.
"Jin? What are yu doing here?" She asked as she saw him.
"I came her to get two coffees and see you." He said.
"Well your usual. And the other one is for.....?" She asked.
"Hobi." She nodded and placed the order.
"Thanks." He said and left.
He soon reached Hoseok's dance class and entered, seeing him exhausted but still with a smile on his face.
"Here." Jin handed him the drink.
"Thanks Jin." And they left back home and reached soon.
*after sometime
The door banged hard. The others got shocked.
Taehyung opened the door, to see a frustrated, and a coffee covered, Y/n.
"What happened? Your face looks kinda reddish." Jungkook asked.
"Why is there coffee on you?" Yoongi asked.
"I did something wrong and it led to the worst things." She said and sat on the couch with a thump.
"Maybe she did one of those shouting again." Taehyung said.
"Shut up. I didn't do anything." She said and went to think what went wrong.
"Then tell us what happened." Jin asked.
"A guy splashed his drink on me."
"What did you do?" He asked.
"I controlled myself from not screwing him or splashing a drink back on him. And I did nothin'. I just stayed quiet. And....." She said.
"And what?" They all were eager.
"I got fired." She said.
"For what?" They all asked.
"For adding less sugar. Is that even a reason?" She asked herself.
"Who the hell is he? Tell me now. Where is he?" Yoongi asked.
"For what? Beat him up. That's no use." She said checking if it still hurts.
"Y/n, he splashed a hot drink on you. You got fired cause of him. Come with me." He said and held her hand and dragged her out of the house, followed by others.
They reached the cafe she worked at and surprisingly that guy was still there, with his friends.
Yoongi took her in and she stood by the door while Yoongi ordered two hot chocolate. He walked straight to that guy and stopped.
Yoongi looked at him and splashed it right on his face.
"Ahhhh!" The guy cried. He took the other drink and splashed it on him again.
"Why the hell did you splash him twice?" His friend asked.
"First one was for splashing it on my friend... and the second one was for her getting fired cause you." He said and walked but turned again and looked at him and asked,
"Is the sugar enough now?" He smirked and left, holding Y/n's hand.
"Yoongi, that was so sweet of you." She said and hugged him.
"Yahhh.. hajima. Don't hug me. Leave me!" He said. She left him and walked happily to house.
"Yoongi, that was one wonderful move." Jungkook said.
Yoongi smiled and they all walked home.
The guys were really protective of Y/n, especially when someone bullies her. They tease each other, but when it comes to outsiders, except them 7, they will beat their asses off.
She was the only girl and there were a lot of people who said she'd love someone and leave the rest. But until now, no one has ever had any feeling other than friendship towards each other. They always had each others back.
"You guys are the best." She said and sat on the couch.
"Yah.. don't think things too much. We just helped a girl in trouble." Yoongi said.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't get the wrong idea." Taehyung said.
"You guys are really terrible at lying." She said and laughed.
"Ok, enough. Let's go eat." Jin said and they all headed to the table and had their dinner.
"So Y/n.... have you found any other job?" Jin asked.
"Yeah, I did check up with another cafe."
"In that dress you were wearing before?" He asked and she nodded.
"Did you get it?" He asked doubted.
"At first, the owner looked at me weirdly and then he accepted."
"If you go like that, who would not look at you weirdly?" Taehyung whispered.
"What?" She asked looking at him.
"N-nothing." He said and continued eating.
"I heard what you said. Don't act like you haven't faced situtations like this. This is how you even you started." She said.
"I atleast had a goal, not like you." He commented. She put her fork down, making a loud sound.
"Yes, I don't have goal. I don't have a proper planning in life or what I want to do in my life. That is why I am here now, feeling happy about my friend's success rather than mine." She said and got up and walked away.
"Tae, what is this?" Namjoon asked, sighing.
"We all know how much hard she works. We have a bright future ahead of the work we are doing, but we are here cause of her. We should stay till the end and guide her and support her." Jimin said.
"I'll go talk to her." He said and was about to get up but stopped by Hoseok.
"This isn't the right time. She would be thinking or sleeping. You don't need to talk to her, she'll only come and talk to you. You guys know her." He said.
"Yeah. Hobi is right." Jungkook added, stuffing the last bite. Taehyung nodded and sat back. But he couldn't eat properly.
He felt guilty that he shouted at her even after knowing about her. He remembered about the help she did for him.
"Tae, it'll be fine. Don't worry and just eat. She'll be fine." Jimin said and patted him. He nodded and ate his food.
Soon they all went to sleep.
*next day
Y/n was still sleeping while the others were awake. It was around 7. Taehyung was sitting on the couch and playing video games with Jungkook.
*at 8 am
"Good morning!" Y/n said with a wide smile.
"Morning." The other said in unison.
She stretched herself and sat next to Taehyung.
"Jungkook, come here." Jin called. 5 minutes passed but he still didn't go.
Y/n hit Jungkook's head and said,
"Yah.. go. He's calling."
"Why me?" He whined and walked stamping his feet. Y/n took the controller and played with Taehyung.
"How about 10 bucks?" Y/n asked.
"Why not?" He said and they played a game. A car race game.
Taehyung and Y/n were on the same wave-length. But Taehyung suddenly hit on the side. He wantedly did that.
And Y/n won the game.
"Yessss! I won! Gimme my 10 bucks." She said, putting her palm out.
He kept it on her hand and before he could take his hand away, she flipped his hand and he had 20 now. Y/n gave him a 10. Taehyung had a confused look on his face.
"In a game, you only focus on your winning, not your opponents." She said and smiled.
"Y/n I am sorry for las-" Before he could say, she cut him.
"I forgive you. As a friend, you had the right to say it. There are things that happen like this. But in friendship, you forgive and forget." She said.
Taehyung was feeling like he got back the most valuable thing in his life.
He hugged her tightly. She hugged him back.
The others were happy to see them back together after yesterday. They were standing and looking at them both. Y/n saw them and called in for a group hug.
Jimin was the first to run, followed by Jungkook and the pthers. Yoongi was the last. He never really liked these. But he liked these 7's company and was only close to them. He never let any girl to hug him except Y/n. Eventhough he likes it, he acts like he hates it.
Like this, they had small fights. They wouldn't talk to each other nor see each other. But later they'll be together and forget why they were angry at each other. There were a lot of time they'd laugh than say sorry or thank you.
They maybe elder or younger to each other by months or dates. But they never really used dialects or never called each other with respect. They'd call each other with their names.
"I'm getting late to my first day at the new cafe." Y/n said and ran to her room to get ready.
The others also left to work.
Y/n was the last to leave, so she closed the door and walked to the cafe.
She entered and the owner was right there standing.
"Sir, I'm really sorry. I know I'm a bit late." She said and looked at him. He was more angry.
"Ok, ok. I was a lot late than the time. But next time, I'm sure I'll be on time. Please." She said with sad eyes.
"Ok, but from tomorrow be on time."
"Sure sir. I will." She said and went in and put on her apron and started her work.
"Hi. I am Choi Y/n."
"I am Kim Lia." She said.
"Nice to meet you."
"You too." She said.
"I am not new to this. So let me just get started." Y/n said and continued her work.
*after 5 hours
Y/n was exhausted. There were a lot of customers and especially take-aways.
The door opened, revealing 7 tall/short, cute, guys.
"Y/n, look there." Lia said and looked towards the door. Y/n turned and looked at them. A smile grew in her face. She waved at them.
"Gosh, Y/n they are coming here." Lia was getting excited but Y/n didn't listen to it.
"Your usuals? Or something different?" She asked adn Lia was just staring at them.
"Of course usual." Jin said. Y/n noticed Taehyung looking at someone.
"Keep seeing like that Mr. Tae and I'll pull out your eyes." She said in a smiling way.
Taehyung scratched his head and looked down.
"Have a seat I'll bring it." She said and they left.
She then noticed Lia looking at them.
"Yah... don't you dare have an eye on them. They are mine." She said and gave her the order to make.
She soon came with the drinks and Y/n went to serve them.
"So, what brought you guys here? You would never even come while I worked there."
"That shop didn't have much except coffee's and cakes. But look at this, coffee's cake's, doughnut's, and many more." Taehyung said and looked at Lia at the counter.
"Once more you see there, I'll never let you enter here." She said.
"Wae?" He whined.
"If I am there, you'll have to face it." She said and smiled.
"Ok, so are you free this weekend?" Jin asked.
"I'm not sure. I'll have to ask the manager."
"Why?"
"You remember the beach we went last time?" She nodded.
"We've decided to go there this weekend." Yoongi said. She smiled and looked at the door. The manager was still there.
"Wait. I'll go ask my manager." She said and headed to him.
"Sir, I actually have plans this weekend, so can I take off, for the weekend?" She asked hoping she'd get a good news.
"I'm sorry Y/n, I can't." He said a harsh tone.
"But why sir?" She asked confused.
"You just joined and you're asking for a holiday, already? You know every coffee shop works everyday, till 11 at night. If you are so into having plans why the hell do you come and work in a cafe?" He shouted. The whole crowd looked at them.
Tears started flowing in Y/n's eyes. The guys saw it and anger was rising in all of them. Y/n removed her apron adn threw it down and ran outside.
Yoongi got up and approached the manager. He pulled his collar and looked at him.
"She won't work here anymore. And this is not gonna end." He said and left. The others glared at him with anger and went out, in search of Y/n.
"Each of you go each way and find where she is. Call us if any of you see her." They nodded and each went one way.
*after half an hour of finding
Yoongi ran up the road and was breathing heavy. He looked around to see if there was anyone.
His eyes caught one specific person who's head was hung down. He was sure it was Y/n. She was siting by the bus stop. Before walking towards her, he called Jin and said that he found her and she would bring her home.
"Y/n." He called. She looked up and saw Yoongi.
He saw her crying and sat down next to her.
"Uljima." He said.
"Why are you crying?" He asked.
"Me getting a job.. I don't even know what I am interested in or what I like. I would be the only one to get fired on the first day of work." She said in between her cries.
"Y/n, everybody has a talent. It's not that you don't have and only I have. As far as I know, you are damn talented. But give yourself sometime and think, what you like the most, whar makes you happy, what makes you get on your toes and do the work, what do you think is the eaisest. If you get an answer for all this, then that is your job. That is your interest." He said.
"But it's too late to think about it now." She said and wiped her tears.
"We're there to help you. We'll help you get the right job." He said.
She felt kinda relieved. She felt better after hearing him.
"Gomawo." She said and hugged him.
"Yah... how many times should I tell you not to hug me?" He said.
"Stop lying. I know you are ok when I hug you." Hewas just quiet after hearing her say that.
"Ok, let's go home. Come." She said and they walked home.
*after half an hour
The door opened and everyone were worried.
"You are ok right?"
"Yeah yeah. I'm fine." SHe said and sat down.
"So about the weekend, since I am doing nothing. Let's go. I am very excited."
"Y/n, are you sure?" Jin asked.
"Yes. I am." She said and went to her room. The others smiled at her transition. But they know that, deep under, she was still worried and sad about it. And they knew what to do about it.
