Chapter 41: World 2.16

"Okay okay okay, Should I do this one? Or this one?"

Yang walked back and forth and then left to right and then turned around the corner and did the same.

AUTHOR: What the hell are you doing?

{Shhh! I'm concentrating here, don't distract me}

AUTHOR: ??

Yang was turning and twirling around the room for the past hours, with his eyes locked on his phone screen. He was thinking if he will be doing this 'Steps to get rid of amnesia'

He finally settled down and sanked his body onto the bed "Gahh!! This is so hard, should I just knock my head to the tree?" he said

AUTHOR: Tree what?!

{ I want to remember things so badly!}

AUTHOR: And now you're planning to end the second world so soon

{ I mean...things are getting a bit complicated right now, I'm really not used in this kind of character}

AUTHOR: Should I reboot the world?

{That's a good suggestion but I don't want to waste everything I worked for}

AUTHOR: Well, you can't force yourself to remember things

{That's why I'm doing something}

Three loud knocks were suddenly heard behind the door. "Master Kyle, you have a visitor"

"Who would have visited me at this time and day?" he thought heading downstairs. His heart stopped a beat when he saw the familiar face the moment he reached the living room. Ellie was sitting on the sofa, sipping her tea. Yang slowly sat quietly on the other solo-style sofa, he jolted when Ellie cleared her throat.

"Oh my god, that scares me" he whispered with his hand on his chest

"I went here to asked some few things"

"You can ask anything" Yang replied in surprise. Ellie put the cup of tea back on the table. "How's Luke?" she asked.

"He's fine...I guess" then he lowered his head

"I have found his heart donor" she said with a serious tone that made Yang flinch over "Really?!" he exclaimed

"Don't get happy about it, I'm still not sure, we still need to do some tests" she took another sipped and then she handed some papers to Yang. "This is all the papers to be sign by you and Luke, take a look and asked him if he wants to do it"

Yang reached for the papers and scanned it carefully, Ellie's phone suddenly rang so she picked it up to answer, then after a few minutes she was ready to leave "I have some businesses to attend so I'm leaving all this to you"

Yang stood up and bowed his head "Thank you so much Ellie" then the lady bid her goodbye. Yang sat back on the sofa with a little bit of a smile on his face. He at least felt relieved the moment he heard Ellie talked about the donor. All they need to know is, if that donor can pass the tests.

Yang was surprised when he saw Darryl fall in front of him "D-Darryl?! Where did you come from? You scare me!" he exclaimed. The floor was covered in a fluffy mat so it doesn't hurt him even if he fall many times.

Darryl lifted up his body and shake off his knees then he smiled back to Yang "Mama...ehehe" then he climbed up to the sofa "You have something to say?" Yang asked him after seeing the phone held by his child.

Darryl went back to the phone and then he clicked the 'play button' on top of the screen, a video of different fireworks display fit the screen "Mama! Firewowks !! Ryl want firewowks!!" the child exclaimed after showing a video to Yang.

"Oh? I see, let's watch one then" he patted Darryl's head

Meanwhile, Emma entered the living room for a quick vacuum cleaning. "Emma" he called " Will there be a fireworks display near our place?" the lady stop what she was doing "Next week is the city festival and as far as I know there will be a fireworks display at night, Master Kyle" she replied

Yang sprang from his seat "Okay! Things are all settled!"

Darryl clapped his hands as he stood up jumping on the sofa "Yey!! Ryl will watch firewowks!!" he happily exclaimed.

The day went on until Luke were finally home, the two greeted him smiling on the door. Darryl gave him a kiss on the cheeks while Yang helped him carry his bag and took off his coat. "What happened to you two?" he asked in a puzzled face

Yang cleared his throat "Y-You know Darryl wants to--" Yang failed to say the words when Darryl interrupted him "Ryl wants to see firewowks!! Papa firewowks!!" he exclaimed

"Firewowks? What is that? Fireworks?" Luke asked him with a confused face so Yang answered him instead "You know...the City festival and the fireworks" he smiled up "Darryl wants to see the fireworks" he added

"Papa let's go! Pweasee!!" Ryl's eyes turned to a sad one "Papa pweasee" then he made the most precious and cute face he ever had.

Luke looked Darryl in the eyes and then brushed his hair "Okay, Papa will look up his schedule"

Yang sighed and then he pulled Darryl from Luke's embrace "Let's eat dinner first before anything else" then they all went to the dining room.

It was the City Festival!!

The roads were full of different food stalls, the people were enjoying the different lights from the lanterns. Some are playing games together with their friends and families. The City was lively and noisy. The night bazaar at the seaside is really soothing and refreshing in the eyes. There are people on the boats floating up some lanterns.

"Mama! Papa! Look!! Look!!" Darryl exclaimed the moment he saw the glimmering lights coming from the water. His eyes were beaming happily.

"You like it?" Yang asked him after seeing how excited he was.

The family together with Olivia and a few bodyguards went along the stalls, they're enjoying their time looking at different products and foods through the way. Yang can feel that Darryl was so happy going out at night. They saw some fishing-catch game "Papa! Fish! Fish! Ryl wants to play fish!!" the child blurted out as he was jumping like a spring from Luke's arms.

"Okay, you can go with Olivia.." Luke handed him to the lady and then he let the bodyguards follow them for safety.

Yang and Luke were left there alone. "Mmm...You want to stroll around?" Yang asked to elevate the awkwardness in the atmosphere.

The two walked along near the seaside, their hands intertwined. The waves flowing back and forth were keeping away the silence between them. Yang wants to talk to him about this one thing but he couldn't start a word. He was debating by himself whether he's going to ask Luke or not.

"I have something to tell you!" the two exclaimed in unison, they're both surprised after hearing the same words from each other. "You go first my love" Luke initiated

Yang cleared his throat "I just wanted to know why you acted so violently towards me" he said in a slow-paced tone.

Luke looked away and then he lowered his head "I-I'm sorry, I thought that you're just doing that again because of your pity, because you have amnesia...I didn't know how to handle this alone anymore that's why I pushed you away" his voice were trembling as he bit his lower lip.

He pulled Yang's palm and place it to his chest "But my heart only wants you Kyle, I have loved you from the very start even though you kept on pushing me away...even if I know that you don't love me...even though--"

Yang sealed the man's lips with his index finger "sshhh...I don't need anyone right now Luke, just you and Darryl, I know I hated you in the past, but I can also change the future, let's change the future together" he said solemnly

'LOVE METER RAISED TO 65%'

"There's nothing I can wish for, just please let me heal the wounds from the past" Yang embraced him so tight until their bodies felt the warmth from each other.

"Mama! Papa!!" a tiny voice from afar caused them to let go, Darryl was happily waving his two hands on them. They hugged Darryl together the moment Olivia reached them.

And then after a few minutes, the sky suddenly glowed into different colors, the shimmering lights from the fireworks were beautiful. It was sparkling on their eyes. The quiet sky was now full of bright flashy colors, the dark sky became lively.

Luke held Yang's hand very tight while Darryl was on his left arm, his heart was so happy. He never knew what he would feel, but there is only one thing he realized.

It will become one of his best memories with them.
