Chapter 25: Chapter 24: Forefront
"Good Luck everyone!!!" Both Ceto and Risley, who stayed behind cheered them on as they made their way up toward the Labyrinth.
Kagura took the front, Lee was behind her. Beth was in the middle, Millianna on the fourth, and Arana as the last person.
When they arrived at the Sky Labyrinth, they were charged at by people from all sides. It was easy for them as all of them were strong. After defeating other guild members, they noticed that some of the group have papers with them.
Since they had Lee with them in their group, it was easy for him to solve the Labyrinth that led them to the nearest door. When they are about to arrive at their destination, the Labyrinth itself flips upside down for them.
Since they were about to fall, Lee used his *Gravity Control* magic.
"*Zero Gravity,*" The moment he stated that all of them stay afloat. As for the other participants, most of them fell. Luckily for them, Magic circles caught those who fell out, but they are disqualified from returning to the labyrinth.
With Lee's help, they casually flew toward the door. After they entered the door, they arrived at another space. In that space, the ground, water, trees, and including the building were upside down. No, it was they who were upside down.
This time, Kagura utilized her gravity and pulled themselves toward the ground that was above them.
After they arrived there, they had another door waiting for them. All of them made their way through the door.
To their surprise, on the other side waiting for them was Mato, which means they had arrived at Domus Flau, the objective to succeed in the elimination round!
"Congratulations, members of Mermaid Heel! You are the first one to arrive!!!" Mato in his green hat announced as the firework lit up behind him.
When the members of Mermaid Heel heard that, they were really happy. After a while, other guilds started showing up respected but Lee and others already went back to their motel which transformed back to normal.
Like always, Lee slept in the same room as Kagura. Others didn't say anything about it because they saw how Kagura treated Lee.
Compared to a month ago, Lee was much taller as he had grown up to 152 cm. Kagura still thinks he was a kid. One thing though, she couldn't stop herself from not having an indecent relationship with her brother.
Both of them were sitting on their bed kissing each other like it was normal for them. When both of them were done, Kagura hugged him to sleep as they were looking forward to the Grand Magic Games tomorrow.

The next day. Crocus, as the capital city of Fiore, was even more crowded than the day before. Every year, people from all across the country showed up to watch the Grand Magic Games. Even people from neighboring countries made their way in as honor guests to watch mages of Fiore showing off their strength.
Businesses were flourishing, people were happy and even the visitors looked forward to seeing what will happen in the Grand Magic Games. Some people entered the capital with bad intentions, but they all have the same goal, the Grand Magic Games.
Lee, who woke up in Kagura's arms, felt that it was happiness. Even if he doesn't remember his past, the current life he has, he wants it to last forever. Every day was a new day to look forward to. He cherished every moment he spent time with Kagura.
When he looked at Kagura's sleeping face, he found her to be really beautiful. Most of the time, she always had a stern look on her face. When he saw she was sleeping, he couldn't help himself as wanted to tease her cute face to see the different expressions of her.
Lee reached up to touch her face and made her cast a smile expression. When he achieved that, he saw Kagura's eyes staring down at him.
Instead of getting mad, she held him rightly and gave him a deep kiss.
After they cleaned themselves up in the morning, along with the rest of Mermaid Heel members, they made their way toward the Arena.
Ceto also tapped along with them. She appeared like she was another member of the group, even though she was the Guild Master.
As for Millianna, she covered herself up in her crimson robe with a hood on.
When they arrived there, both Ceto and Risley wished them good luck and went to the seating area to cheer them on along with other Mermaid Heel members who came to watch.
After waiting for a while, Mato showed up to make an announcement again. In front of the audience, large screens were showing Mato. After he had concluded the announcement, the screens changed to the MC. This time, they have Chapati Lola as the MC and with two guest speakers.
"Hello, everyone! I am your MC, Chapati Lola for this tournament. For the first day, we have two guest speakers with us. To my left is Yajima, a former member of the Magic Council! "
"Hello!" Yajima greeted.
"To my right is Realight Jenny of Blue Pegasus!" Lola announced.
"Hello, Everyone! How are you guys doing?!" Jenny called out as she waved her hand.
Lola was a man in a suit with neatly combed black hair and a serious face. Yajima is a kind-looking elderly man, who is also a friend of Fairy Tail guild master, Dreyar Makarov. As for the Realight Jenny, both Kagura and Lee met her when they were on their way home from Borderland, along with other Blue Pegasus members.
"Alright!!! Who do you guys think will win?!" Lola questioned the other two.
"I think Fairy Tail has a chance of winning because they have members from seven years ago who came back," Yajima stated.
"Well, I do agree with your statement! It will be awesome to see what they will show us!" Lola stated excitedly.
"I support my guild! The Blue Pegasus team will be the one winning!" Jenny also said with a serious expression on her face.
When Lola heard that, he paused for a little, then he continued his job as an MC.
"It will be interesting to see!... We'll have to wait to find out! Well, without further ado, let's introduce our contesters from eighth place to first place from the order of the elimination round!" Lola shouted as the crowds cheered excitedly.
"8th place, let's welcome the Fairy Tail!" Lola shouted.
The Fairy Tail members came out in a group with Natsu raising his hand, while Wendy and Lucy beside him. Both Gray and Erza stood behind them as they made their entrance. They all wore dark blue uniforms as a team. Before they were able to advance far, the people in the audience jeer at them.
"Boo! The Fairy Tail is gonna be the last place again!" one person shouted.
"You guys should just stay at home if you're gonna be last!!!" Another person shouted.
"What are they talking about!?" Natsu asked as he was clueless about what was going on.
"Before we came back, Fairy Tail was always the last place," Lucy replied to his question.
Erza and the other two didn't say anything as they stood in the middle.
Even though people Jeer at them, they still have people from their guild and other few who also cheer them on.
"What do you think of the audience's response to the entrance!" Lola asked the guest members.
"They don't know what Fairy Tail will offer to them yet. This year will be different... They will see Fairy Tail's true color soon." Yajima replied excitedly and also to defend Fairy Tail.
"Alright, the 7th place! Quatro Cerberus!!!" Lola announced. When the audience heard that, the approvals were going up.
Five rowdy men showed up. In front of the team was a Drunken who was still drinking as he made his entrance.
"Four!" One person shouted from their group.
"The Wild!!!!" the other four shouted along.
"The 6th place, Blue Pegasus!!!!" Lola stated powerfully.
"It's your guild members," Yajima said to Jenny.
"Yes, we do have some special members" Jenny replied with a smile on her face.
At the gate, a handsome man, a person in a bunny costume along with three others made their entrance.
"Men~ is it this Erza-Kun, it's good to see you again!" Ichiya said as he moved toward the Fairy Tail group.
"Here comes the Fifth place! Lamia Scale!!!" Lola announced again.
This time, members of the Lamia scale came which they heard cheering resounded through the audiences.
The moment Lyon arrived, he started arguing with Gray over Juvia. They also made a bet with each other. As for the Jura, and the rest, they talked with other guild members. Sherria Blendy, whose Lee and Kagura met on the train, are also part of the team.
"Introducing 4th place, Raven Tail!!!!" Lola announced as a bunch of weird people showed up. The members of Fairy Tail responded differently. The Guild Master of Raven Tail was the son of Dreyar Makarov, Dreyar Ivan. They used to be a dark guild, but over the past seven years, they had been building their reputation to become a regular guild.
Even though there were beets between Fairy Tail and Raven Tail, nobody cares about them.
"Third place, Fairy Tail B!!!" Lola announced.
This time, it was Laxus and others came out. The audiences were surprised including the other members of Fairy Tail themselves.
Lola had to explain to the people that it wasn't against the rule. Then he continued to announce the next team.
"Second place, Saber Tooth!" When people heard that, they were shocked and wondered who was the guild that took Saber Tooth first place. Even though Saber Tooth came in second place, that was just the preliminary round, so people still cheered for them as if they were champions.
"Lastly, it's the first place of the preliminary round! The Mermaid Heel, also known as the only female members guild!!!!" Lola declared. When people heard that, they all started cheering even louder than they cheered for Saber Tooth.
All the female members were at the front, but they were confused by a boy who carried a long sword almost his height accompanied them.
"I also don't know why they have a boy member, but this is interesting!!!!" Lola shouted.
Not only the people in the stadium but also two girls among the groups were also surprised by Lee's arrival.
Blendy Sherria knew that Lee was the brother of Kagura but she didn't expect him to participate too.
As for Wendy, she dreamed of meeting him again and it finally came true to her. The only thing was, they were going to compete against each other.
When both Wendy and Sherria followed Lee with their eyes, both noticed the girl from the other guild was looking at him distinctly.
Sherria stared at Wendy, while Wendy did the same thing.
'I'm not going to lose!" both of them thought to themselves as they turned their heads away.
Lee didn't interact with anyone because a certain thing happened to him. The moment he entered the Arena, his eyes were like magnifiers which instantly locked-on a little girl in the Fairy Tail seating area. Marvis who was cheering for Fairy Tail Members was also shocked but she smiled at him.
When he closed his eyes, it wasn't focusing on her anymore.
"Alright, everyone looks here!" Mato popped up again from nowhere. When he saw that everyone was looking at him, he started to explain the rule.
"The rules of the games for each match are unknown. In five days, each team will strive to earn the most points. The points are accumulated...The team with the most points will be the deciding winner at the end of the final day...There will be two rounds per day, one is a special match, while the other is a single-person match. The point attaining for every single-person match is simple. The winner gains 10 points while the loser gains zero. In the case of a draw, each team will gain 5 points.
"Without further ado, let the first match begin!" Mato shouted as he ran back to the corner.
"In the first round competition, each team needs to send one member to participate!" Lola announced.
"I... Let me be the first one to go!" Beth volunteered.
"Alright, good luck!" Kagura gave her an answer.
The others also cheered for her including Lee. Even since he became part of Mermaid Heel, he trained most of the time, but he did spend time with the other girls when he was hoping to gain back his memories.
"Alright, I am going!" Beth said as she walked toward the center of the arena.
