It has been only 2 years since the rebellion ended.
Our original headquarters was an old-abandoned hospital, after the war it took a while for a headquarters to be built, but it was just finished a few weeks ago.
Some parts of the city and other parts of the country are still being rebuilt.
Our new headquarters is supposed to serve for multiple purposes and it is split up into several separate buildings.
It almost reminds me of a college with the way it is laid out, there are even housing options available for the members who need it. Most of the newer recruits stay there while they are training.
There is a laboratory, a cafeteria, classrooms, indoor gun range, an armory, and so many other facilities.
Flying over the city, I close in on the new headquarters and nosedive at a new group of recruits to give them a good scare.
Seeing them drop to the ground in fear I find myself chucking. I slow down and lightly land next to the group of teens.
"Why are you all bowing to your Captain?"
I command in a loud voice, and fold my arms as I watch them cowering on the ground.
With this they all scramble to their feet and solute me.
"Our apologies Captain Dawn!" They yell in unison
"At ease recruits, Captain Dawn is just messing with you guys" a male voice interrupted from behind me.
A smile creeps on my face as I watch their faces fall with relief.
"C'mon Reggie, you are no fun!" I turn to face him and wink.
"Can you please stop terrorizing our new recruits? If I knew any better I would say you are trying to scare them off! You should be trying to encourage them seeing as you are a Captain."
"Hey, I never asked for this position, it was given to me." I pat Reggie on the shoulder as I pass by him to head into the main building.
