Looking down at my watch i saw that it was almost my lunch hour, I'm not exactly feeling hungry i had a healthy breakfast this morning thanks to ma, but i do feel like having a cocktail though i thought picking up my iphone off my desk i decided to see if my best friend tina was free to come have a drink with me, so i decided to text her.
"911 hoe need me some drinks come with me!!!!. " she replied in seconds.
"In a meet boo."
"drinks later?"
"on me."
sighing i replied
"sure."
Throwing my phone down on my desk i placed my head in my hands i sighed, I guess i'll be getting cocktails alone then. Calling me assistant Peaches i let her know that she should reschedule any appointments for today for some time tomorrow i was no longer in any mood to be in today.
"Will do ms divine" she replied.
"Thank you"
"Oh and Peaches how many time i gotta tell you just divine no need for titles"
"yes divine I apologize"
I smiled "No need in you staying her either peach go home boo."
I said then hung up.I decided to go see what ryan was upto that girl always has henny and i could really use some right now i took out my phone and texted her.
"Im bout to pull up" taking up my purse and making my way towards the elevator as i was about to get on my phone vibrated indicating that she replied i guess, I didn't bother to check i just made my way to my cadillac.
Pulling up to Miracle's hair and nails salon i walked the doors ryan and i both decided to open up a salon on both sides of town we're business partner's and we have been for about 3 years now
"hey girls"I waved walking towards ryan's office
"Hey dee" they said in unison.
Walking in ryan's office i saw her on the phone,she signaled that she would be with me in a minute i nodded and went straight for the liquor cabinet and pour myself a glass of hennessy.
Taking seat on her sofa i grabbed a magazine and started paging through it. After a while she hung up the phone and groaned, I threw down the magazine beside me. "Miguel?" i asked
rolling her eyes she replied "Yes i swear that man is gonna be the death of me" she folded her arms across her chest and came to sit beside me " I threw my hands up in surrender "ion even wanna know." "Hmmn, anyway what's up i know you didn't drive all the way over here to just drink up my liquor"
"Hmmn that your wrong about i did i need some drinks and didnt wanna go to the bar alone so i came here to get some from your stash and see what's up with you" I pointed at her with the glass in my hand. " girl i don't even wanna go there im just tired of miguel's shit, I mean how many times can one nigga say sorry for doing the same dirty shit over and over im not taking him back this time" she shook her head then got up to pour herself a drink and came back over to sit beside me.
"Girl that's what you said last time though" I laughed
"I know" she groaned "god knows i love that man but i'm tired of him hurting me like he do you know?" "girl don't i know it." I sat my glass down uncrossing my legs getting up to pull her up "come on boo we going shopping tee taking us out for drinks later her treat" "I could use a girl's night so that sounds awesome lets go we taking your ride " she agreed grabbing her purse walking out. "Nevertheless" grabbing my purse following pursuit.
After getting what we needed for tonight we made our way to burger king for lunch the hungry was now taking its course.
Pulling up to burger king we made or way inside.
"Find us a seat ill order" i said fishing inside my bag for my pocket book not finding it.
"Hold on i think i forgot my pocket book in the car go find the seats i'll be right back."
"aight" she says walking off. I made my way towards the door still searching through my bag to see if i missed my wallet when i bumped into a wall and the wall grab me to steady me, a very tall wall i thought looking up seeing this handsome caramel chocolate dip "I'm so sorry i was just looking for something in my bag i didn't see you there im really sorry " I expressed.
"slow down mamas, i'm at fault too should've watched where i was going also cant say im not glad i wasn't watching though wouldn't have bumped into you" he said smiling.
blushing i brushed my hair behind my ear.
"uh ok ill just go now" i said awkwardly trying to walk past him until he stepped in front of me again with his hand held out.
"Im Dom" he says.
"Divine" I replied taking his hand.
"Divine...i like that, nice bumping into you mama i hope to see you around some other time"
he says walking away not giving me a chance to reply and leaving me staring after him i didn't even realized that ryan walked up to me "who was that?" she asked
"that's dom my clumsy ass bumped into him" i replied still looking in the direction he went
"hmmn too bad you didn't get his number, he one fine m-" "ok that's enough ogling for today" i said finally looking at her realizing that she had our food in her hand " "couldn't wait huh?."
"you was taking too long now i know why, glad i took it on myself to order now come on your sofa is calling my name" she laughed walking off towards the car.
