Prologue
The bright light bounced softly off of a shrouded figure's crude armour, a tiny glint underneath a garish hood suggested a cruel smile.
Before long the lone figure shifted in its throne, a chair sporting a nightmare-inducing menagerie of skulls and bones. And as the figure shifted some more, an awful crunching sound followed - the sound of bone snapping.
"Soon, Yggdrasil will be open once more, and what was rightfully mine will be snatched from those who took it," The creature said in a grating raspy voice "Soon , so soon.".
It crooned, before relaxing once more into its throne, and slowly but surely the cracking of bleached bones was gone, the night became silent and the air filled with the stench of death, the darkness could be heard echoing the word 'soon'.
