lida: eh- the dilemma of a class rep.
reader thoughts: once we took a turn, we were met with monoma.. and he had his usual cocky smirk
monoma: i heard a little rumor about class 1a
y/n: (sighs) here we go again
monoma: two people. you had two people fail the provisional licenses exam, you losers
sero: monoma from class b..
kaminari: he is just as unhinged as usual
kirishima: i bet you were the only one in your class to fail, just like in the final. huh
(monoma laughs at kirishima statement)
kirishima: that wasn't an answer
monoma: actually, everyone of us passed. we pulled ahead of you big shots
y/n: neito monoma, the only reason why you guys passed the exam was because you were given a different exam compared to us and remember we're class 1a. we go beyond plus ultra, meaning we learn highly advanced hero material.. you don't even know what we go through
monoma: (smirks) the answers quite obvious kim, you guys enjoy getting yourselves into trouble
y/n: (sighs) he's really full of himself..
kaminari: he needs help
todoroki: i'm sorry, it's my fault.
kirishima: they were the ones turning this into a competition, it's no big deal
???: according to teacher vlad, we'll have classes this semester doesn't that sound like it'll be fun, i'm looking forward to it
kirishima: i can't wait to check out my skills

principal nezu: hi there, it's the adorable small mammal you all know and love. the principal, you may notice the fur i'm so proud of had deteriorated in quality. i haven't been taking care of it- this is something that can happen to humans too even if you eat a balanced diet full of vitamins and minerals..
readers thoughts: (slightly dumbfounded) uh- what does this have to do with the provisional hero licenses...
principal nezu: -disturbances in your normal lesson patterns are terrible for your hair so if you want to improve your fursuit..- my own sleep cycle has been upset by the incidents that took place over summer vacation which i'm sure everyone here knows about already
readers thoughts: (sighs) so it's now he decides to get to the serious part...

mr. aizawa: starting today we'll resume our regular classes and training schedule. i know that a lot has happened recently, however you need to switch gears and focus on your school duties. we're lecturing today but this semester you'll have even harsher training than before
mina: he can't mean that right
mr. aizawa: like to share that ashido. (while activating his scarf)
mina: eeh- his icy stare is back
tsuyu: excuse me sir, may i ask a question. what were those things the principal was talking about during the opening ceremony- i've never heard the term, hero work studies before
y/n: (sighs) finally someone asked.. thanks su
sero: i know right that had me pretty confused too
tokyami: i also have concerns
momo: he said that it was something the upper class participated in, correct
y/n: so, i guess the whole class was confused on the hero work studies and momo on to something
everyone: yeah..
mr. aizawa: hm, i was planning to talk more about those at a later date but i guess telling you now is more logical. to put it simply, it's work outside of class- like the internships you did at pro hero agencies before.. only closer to the real thing.
ochako: wait- why did we work so hard at the sports festival (yells)
lida: she has a point, if we have work studies then those who weren't scouted at the sports festival still have career paths
y/n: (frowns) i never really thought of that.. was the sports festival a practice to see our potential mr. aizawa then to see what we needed help with
sato: you need to calm down, you're acting nuts so
ochako: this doesn't make sense
mr. aizawa: you'll be using your connections from the festival to secure a work study. it's basic networking. this isn't part of your normal class work, it's discretionary for each student. that means those who weren't scouted for the sports festival will have a hard time lining one up, i'm afraid. lot's of competition since people try to recruit u.a students
y/n: (raises her hand) mr. aizawa, what if i didn't want to use my connections
mr. aizawa: kim, why wouldn't you want to use your connections.
y/n: haha, no personal reasons but i want to go the hard way and find a work study
mr. aizawa: (sighs) whatever please you, it's your career
readers thoughts: i lied, endeavor wasn't the type of person i had in mind to help me with work studies so i'll take a different path and work my way through plus, i'm already good at controlling my fire. so no more endeavor agency.. it wasn't my style so another reason, i need a pretty chill agency
mr. aizawa: now that you have your provisional hero licenses you can assist in real ways for longer periods of time, until now there hasn't been many first years who received their licenses. with the increased activity of villains we're currently exploring the idea that you can participate in work studies as well. we'll explain more about the work study positions and what program and entails at a later date, for now we've got other things to worry about. that's all, sorry to keep you waiting, mic

present mic: first period is english in other words it's jam time. been an age since i stood on this stage, you miss me- we've got a lot to cover today let's get rolling with it (yells)

izuku: guys, i am so sorry for all the trouble i caused
ochako: no sweat deku, thanks for your hard work
jirou: all he did was vacuum and what's with those steam nostrils
y/n: (smiles while giving a thumbs) glad that you're back izuku
izuku: class rep. lida, i'm sorry that i disappointed you
lida: right, well i'm glad you learned from your mistakes follow the rules from now on
izuku: i'll catch up with everything i fell behind on these past three days (determinedly)
kirishima: that's the fighting spirit

mr. aizawa: morning, now that midoriya back, we will go into more detail about what the work studies entail- go ahead and come in.. i'll have people who have experienced them first hand explain. i suggest you listen carefully as they point out how work studies differ from internships- these three are third years at u.a, they rank at the very top of our student body. you may know them as, the big three
