Chapter 4: Irreversible Mistakes Pt2

As I approached the front door, I heard three taps. As though he was mocking me. I saw him run past the window, only to return but with a massive heavy object which I could only see the outline of... and then my life changed.

--‐-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I could only stand, stunned by the silhouette presented before me. He slowly backed away from my door, leaving me confused. But before I could acknowledge what the hell he was doing, he lunged to my door destroying the hinges in the process. I began to regain my senses and turned to run.

My plan for escape was soon foiled as he gripped my wrist and threw me to the ground. My head smashed against the banister of my staircase and I was blacked out onto the floor.

When I finally came around after what felt like weeks, I felt my body being dragged across some sharp, wooden planks, piercing my skin with little splinters The room was dark, I still couldn't see my attacker clearly. The stature told me it was male but I didn't have much time to think as he smashed my head into the wall of the far side of the cabin and I was knocked out again.

It was the first time I had slept in a while. It felt nice, like I was finally at peace with no worries. I was slightly grateful for him knocking me out, allowing me to forget about the harsh world and the cruelty of death, something I was now craving.

As I came to my senses, my panic rose. It had only just began to set in that I have no clue as to where I am or if anyone else knows where I am. I could die in here, this man could do anything to me. I threw my arms forward only to be pulled straight back by the ropes. I pulled and pulled but they wouldn't give. I had tried biting, pulling, untangling, everything I could think of but I was well and truly stuck.

What I would think to be around an hour had passed, I couldn't think of any more ways to get out if these ropes. My thoughts were soon disturbed as the door flew open, flooding the room with light, but I still couldn't clearly see. My senses were immediately heightened and I heard rusting and the grinding of metal at the side of me. Someone else was here.... I was no longer alone. They were pulling and pulling, the same as what I had given up with. I decided to speak out.
