ALL HOPES WERE up when JN told (y/n), Win and Tae that they saw a teenage boy in the forest. But the atmosphere turned downcast when he told them that they didn't catch or get to talk to the boy. JN suddenly regretted telling them the bad news.
They were in the living room, sitting on the sofas. And as usual, Tae and JN were sitting beside each other and Win's in the middle of (y/n) and Bright.
"But at least now we know we're not really alone on this island." JN said, trying to lift the mood up again.
"JN's right. And besides, this is just a small island, we could send two people back in the forest again to find the boy. I have a feeling he'll be our key to getting off this island." said Win and smiled, doing his best to encourage them, like he's saying there's still hope.
JN smiled at the Thai. Win kind of remind him of their main dancer in their group, Jung Seok Ho. Though they do not look alike, they both have beautiful smiles and they both are always full of hope. Seokho's the one who always lifts their group's mood and encourages them whenever they feel down or discouraged. He's the one who always smiles. Even if the world's ending, he would still know how to smile. That's why their fans call him their Sunshine, their Hope.
The smile on JN's lips faltered. Seokho. He suddenly missed him. Missed all of them, Seokho, Minji, Jinseok, Kookjung and Giyoong. He wondered what they would be doing right now. Were they searching for him and Tae? Or did they continue on practicing for the digital concert and just decided to search for them two after the concert? Nah, Mr. Jinse and Bang Hyuk-Si are probably searching for us right now.
JN zoned out he didn't notice Win was calling him. "Yeah, sorry. Umh, can you repeat that again?"
"I'm asking if we could all play sports games outside. It's already four in the afternoon. The sun's not that hot outside."
All eyes were looking at JN. Waiting for his answer. Like he's their leader. Well, he probably made an impression yesternight that's why they thought he's the leader. He probably would be wearing a sign that night while telling the three men what to do that read, "YEAH, I'M YOUR LEADER SO YOU SHOULD DO WHAT I SAY."
JN wanted to scold himself. He shouldn't have acted like that. He got used to it because he's the leader of their boy band group. Now (y/n) and the Thais will think he's bossing them around.
"Yeah sure. You all go first. I'll be finding something in my luggage bag, I'll just catch up. " JN lied. Tae, (y/n) and the Thais stood up and headed outside. JN made sure first that they couldn't hear him anymore before he talked to the kidnappers.
"What do you want?" He asked while touring his eyes around the living room. He knows they could see him. But he's not sure if they could hear him. But he was hoping so.
"What do you want from us?" He asked again. He waited for a few seconds but still, they didn't answer. Or maybe they really couldn't hear me.
"Do you want money? Tell me how much you want and we'll give it to you. Just give us a boat or something so we could get off this island."
And as if on cue, he felt a vibration inside his shorts' right pocket. The phone that he borrowed from Bright a while ago was vibrating. He reached for the phone with his heart beating loudly.

No. We don't want your money.
JN was slightly disappointed. He thought their kidnapper just wanted money that's why they kidnapped JN, Tae, (y/n) and the Thais to hostage them and so their families would give them money. Isn't that always the case? They'll abduct someone just for money.
People do bad things for money. Not only Love can make people do crazy things, Money as well.
JN's forehead creased. He looked up and toured his eyes again, searching for a camera, CCTV or a tiny microphone. Unfortunately, he couldn't find one.
He raised his right brow, "Then what do you want? If not money, then what?" He looked at the touchscreen phone and waited for it to vibrate.
But it didn't.
These kidnappers were making JN's head ache, it couldn't handle anymore questions. More than a lot of questions were inside his mind already. And with that simple answer 'No' from the kidnappers, it added another lot of questions. His mind was going to explode.
This was a different case. A weird different case. No kidnappers kidnaps someone for no apparent reason. Unless they were psychopath kidnappers who kidnaps and kills people randomly just because it's fun. But no, JN, Tae, (y/n) and the Thais had been on that island for already two days and yet no Psycho killer came with a chainsaw or an axe.
Also, no kidnappers kidnaps a person for no apparent reason unless someone who ordered them to kidnap that person has a grudge or envys that person. But it still couldn't be. The last JN checked, he and his mortal enemy just became friends again. And Tae hasn't got any mortal enemies. If he got one for sure he'll openly tell it to JN or their other brothers.
But perhaps someone ordered the kidnappers to kidnap him and Tae because he envys their fame and success. But it just couldn't be too because he and Tae were kidnapped along with (y/n) and the Thais who doesn't have any connections with them.
It just doesn't make any sense!
Before JN's head could even explode, he stopped thinking about it and just focused on the kidnappers' mysterious orders and text messages that he knows would make his head ache as well.
He let out a sigh, "If you wouldn't answer that question. Then please, answer these."
"Why left us a phone with no load? I mean, no kidnappers left his or her victims a phone unless those kidnappers are stupid." JN intentionally put a stress on the word 'stupid'.
"And what do you mean by; you left Tae's camera inside his luggage bag for a purpose? What do you mean by; for a purpose?"
"Why can't we show (y/n) this phone?" This is one of JN's questions that he has been dying to know the answer.
"And last, what do you mean by; always protect the girl. Treat her like she's your baby sister. Is (y/n)'s life in danger?" JN paused. He just realized how stupid that question was. Of course (y/n)'s life was in danger. All of their lives were in danger!
"I mean, why is it the most important order of all orders?" JN wanted to say, Why is (y/n) that special? But he didn't because it's a rude question. He imagined what would (y/n) feel if she heard JN asked that. JN doesn't want her to feel like she's not special. He mean, everybody doesn't deserve to feel unspecial. Especially when it's one of their fans who doesn't feel special.
Their Bulletproof (Their boy band group's fans' fandom name) must never feel unspecial because they are always special to JN and his brothers.
JN looked down when the phone he was holding vibrated. It turned on automatically and a text message slid down. And on that message was one important word and a very noteworthy emoticon.
