Chapter 1: The Manchester's and the Cree's
The Manchester family was around since way back in the 1800s, and since then, they have always been a family of nobility.
Now, modern-day, many people have debts to the Manchesters, but none as deep as the Crees.
The Manchesters own the bank, and many more important aspects, but the Crees take absurd amounts of money from them every year for no explained reason. But every time they check their bank account, they don't have even a penny to their name.
When the next heir to the throne, King, was born, his parents, Miria and John, grew worried for their child.
Many women would only want him for his good looks and money, but they couldn't have that happen, not after his request to move to public school was granted, so they could only do what they thought was best, get him an arranged wife.
They pondered over who it could be for days, their staff became worried for them. One of the staff finally spoke up and suggested they take a daughter that is in debt to them, they can't say no, and if they aren't well-liked, they can be removed.
So that's what John and Miria did, they went from daughter to daughter, going deeper down the debt line as they did so. They started this process when King was 8, now he was 12, and they were losing options and hope.
"There's one more daughter of age on your debt list, Miss." One maid approached Miria.
"What's their family name, Jessie?" Miria asked her maid with no more hope for this girl.
"Cree, Miss," Jessie said. Miria and John gave each other a look and sighed.
"What must be done, must be done. Jessie, contact the Cree family and tell them to send a daughter of age or be arrested for the deep debt they are in to us." Miria said.
All hope was lost, and after this, they wouldn't know what to do.
