Chapter 1: Excuse me WHAT ?
The smell of freshly cut grass, the wind echoing like a whistle, the sound of the leaf's shaking in their branches.
I slowly open my eyes to just only be impaled by the sun's brightness, as my eyes try to find their focus again, I see a person's shadow move in front of my face as my eyes finally focus on that person's face I feel hand on my face, a hand that I could be able to recognize in an instant.
It was my mothers hand " c'mon you shouldn't sleep anywhere that isn't your bed" my mom says while caressing my cheek.
My mother gets on one of her knees and picks me up and carries me to the house and then up the stairs, once we reach the top of the stairs we lock eyes and smile at each other.
Then I feel my moms hands releasing from my back then completely.
As I fall I see my mother smiling then waving to me as my body touches the stairs, I shoot up off my desk .
As I rub my eyes I see a pile of papers on my desk " now... I'm back to reality yay me" I scratch my head trying to remember what I was doing before I drifted off to sleep.
In the middle of trying to remember with my dory looking ass, the door of my office burst open .
I turned to see who it was and who I saw was my "favorite person in the world" , my father.
* looks at audience *
And when I say my favorite person I mean my favorite person to think multiple homicides over*
"Hello father, what brings you here?"
*he clicks his tongue* "Is it so uncommon for a father to visit his own daughter?" he comments.
I turn my head to look at him " you're right it's common for a normal father to visit his daughter, but nor are you normal or a father".
he glares at me "watch it".
my fathers assistant burst in my office "Mr. Black!"
I stare at her while tapping my finger on my desk, I raise my eyebrow "ever heard of knocking?"
she makes eye contact with me " I'm so sorry, pardon me for my manners" she turns to my father " Mr. Black there is a matter of urgency at your house".
my father looks at me one last time then turning to his assistant "very well" he lifts up from his seat then opens the door and without looking at me he says "I expect a report once you come home". then shuts the door.
I roll my eyes then look into the black computer screen seeing myself for the first time since I woke up. I gasped then covering my mouth "holy hell, I look like shit "
I grab a comb that I had in my drawer in my desk and comb my hair to the point where it looked decent.
Then fixing my shirt which was all twisted, Then got out a mirror from my purse and opened it and saw my reflection.
my eyes widened as I saw a little bit of drool in the side of my mouth then wiping it with my finger.
"good job Katerina, the one time your father comes to your office and you look like a hot mess"
I slam my head on my desk
"ow".
I turn my head forward above my desk.
"if dad only knew how much I work my butt off for this company" * sighs *
*after a long day of work*
I finally get into my car and looking forward to my bed and my Chick-fil-A that I was about to pick up.
*time passes by*
"ah I'm finally home! my dearest bed here I come...… oh right the report ....UGH!"
I check myself in my car mirror and compose myself once again.
*sigh*
"lets get this over with"
*enters the house and sees dad in the entrance with a tall blonde woman with a 15 year old boy that looked exactly like a mini version of my father except for his blue eyes*
"ah Katerina you are already here" he says
"mhm" I say
" well its better now then later.... Katerina meet Jessica and Jessica meet Katerina my daughter."
* pauses * " and Katerina meet …Matthew ... your little brother"
*complete silence*
"excuse me... WHAT?"
