Chapter 41: Semifinal Round (Part IV)
[-In the lobby designated for the participants-]
"Master, Hawks and the others are in danger! I cannot shake this feeling of immense danger like something terrible will happen." Shay shared to Master Wushu her worry for her junior ranking fellow disciples.
Other disciples of Master Wushu were also worried and concerned for the security of Hawks and the rest of his team.
An apparent worry was surrounding around the disciples of Master Wushu.
"I understand your worry, Shay! Let's have faith. And believe in them … that they will be able to surpass this difficult trial which they are going through." Master Wushu wanted to comfort Shay.
But Feilong interjected, "Something is not right, master! The armored titan which Hawks and the others are going against with … seems to be different than the other armored titans designated to the other teams."
Master Wushu and his other disciples observed carefully what was going on with Hawks and the rest.
"Isn't it supposed to be all armored titans must be the same level with the other {Junior-Ranked} teams? Because the armored titan which Hawks and the others are facing seems to be behaving differently. OR am I just hallucinating things?" Ganki, one of the {Apprentice-Ranked} disciples of Master Wushu, wondered and asked.
"I agree with you … My observation is also the same. And I think other participants are starting to notice it as well." Ruh agreed with Ganki's own observation.
"Ganki! Let's go to the organizers booth. We have to address this issue to them or else, Hawks and the others may be in danger if our worry is right." Feilong said to Ganki.
Before they could even leave, Master Wushu took their attention.
"Feilong! Ganki!" Mastser Wushu uttered.
Both apprentices of Master Wushu paused and looked at Master Wushu.
They thought Master Wushu would reprimand them.
Instead, he reminded them both,
"Just be careful. Do not cause any unnecessary conflict with the authorities and avoid any clash with the soldiers or any official from the Golden Dragon Sect. Always consider the bigger picture rather than your own temper." Master Wushu reminded the two.
"I am going with you. Just in case, things escalate into something worst." Ruh volunteered to accompany Feilong and Ganki.
"Shay, don't leave master's side." Feilong instructed Shay.
"Don't worry … I know what I have to do!" Shay reassured Feilong.
Unknown to the audience and the participants,
Even the organizing committee is in turmoil.
They were panicking because of a terrible mishap.
[-In the office of the organizing committee-]
"What we gonna do? That armored titan is supposed to be for the {Apprentice-Ranked} division. Who the hell let that thing loose?" One of the staff members complained.
"Oh my God! This is a big big scandal … We will lose our heads for this! Once the emperor of the Golden Dragon Sect finds out we screwed up in this tournament, we will all lose our heads!" stated by the other staff member.
Panic ensued in the office of the organizing committee.
Not knowing what to do next because no one was answering from the security or any staff members within the dungeon around the premises of the team of Hawks.
They were also hesitating to seek any assistance from the soldiers or officials of Golden Dragon Sect because it would be disclosed to others the certain mishap that took place.
Their reputation and credibility as organizers will be at stake. Including their own life.
It is known to everyone regarding the low tolerance of the emperor of Golden Dragon Sect regarding with failure.
"We are doomed if something happens with those kids!" cried out loud by one of the female staff members.
Meanwhile …

[-In the dungeon-]
A massive amount of ki was being gathered around Shams.
'How close are we in completing the preparation? We need to attack now or else we will lose a team member. Maya is tremendously weakened and Billy is barely hanging on.' Shams asked his mythical beast.
< Sss … Just few more minutes! What you are asking from me is not easy! Your plan to defeat that thing in one powerful blow requires a lot of ki … Sss > the mythical beast of Shams informed him.
The armored titan made a full swing strike which destroyed the barricade of Billy.
A barricade made up of rocks.
Despite the efforts of Billy to strengthen the barricade he made, the armored titan destroyed it with full power.
"Aaaaahhhh !!!" Billy screamed for his life.
"Billy !!!!" Hawks exclaimed.
He ordered his tamed beast to attack the armored titan with its full power but no matter how much his tamed beast would release powerful blasts, it seemed ineffective against the armored titan.
Fear struck Hawks that something bad might happen to Billy because its barricade was totally destroyed.
Before the armored titan could swing his next fully powered strike.
Everyone was surprised at the sudden defeat of the huge armored titan.
The audience in the arena …
Participants in the lobby …
Master Wushu and his disciples …
Especially Hawks and Billy …
Astonished at the quick and sudden defeat of the armored titan.
It fell to the ground with a hole on its chest.
Huge smoke surrounding the armored titan and Shams.
No one could really distinguish what really happened.
Things happened so quick and so sudden.
There was complete silence all over the arena and in the lobby.
Because it was too shocking to comprehend.
Instantly … the armored titan was defeated in just one hit by a young participant.
Head Masters from the different noble clans were left dumbfounded with what transpired.
From a near life and death situation into a complete victory of the team of Hawks.
"W-w-woooah! The disciples of Master Wushu defeated the armored titan … School of Master Wushu takes the first place. Qualifying first … for the -Grandfinals Round- of the tournament!" the announcer declared to the audience.
Loud cheers and rousing applause from the audience echoed all over the entire arena.
