Chapter 153: 145. Repentance
the unprecedented explosion shook the whole Greek Pantheon once more. Zeus came out of the explosion like a chicken smoking on BBQ. He looked around the vicinity and found the whole Greek Pantheon had become a flat plain without a building in sight.
"I will kill that Mortal!" Zeus screamed in rage when he saw the destruction of his Pantheon. His eyes glowed with lightning and his beard was flaring up from rage.
Zeus gloomily looked at his Pantheon with a heavy heart and after some time decided to just head back to the meeting hall. He was in a terrible mood from what just happened.

Vegeta quickly approached the base that he had established for his family. He was full of anticipation to finally see his family one more time. It had been so long that he was worried about them, even though he had gotten the Clones' memories.
Just as Vegeta was approaching the base, his Ki was totally spent and he plunged to the ground. His body was battered from fighting with Zeus and his left arm was missing with the whole shoulder also gone. He barely stood up from the ground and slowly walked towards the base.
When he was in front of the base, the hatch opened on its own and Vegeta entered the base carefully. When he came inside, he saw everyone sitting there with solemn expressions and the atmosphere in the room was gloomy.
Everyone was fidgeting and twiddling with their fingers like they were sitting on pins and needles. As soon as they saw Vegeta stepping in the base, the girls burst into tears when they looked at his condition and rushed towards him,
"I'm Sorry Onii-chan. I shouldn't have gone there. I'm sorry!" Momo wailed as she clung to Vegeta's body. She felt extremely bad when she looked at Vegeta's bruised body and missing arm. The other four girls, Nejire, Toru, Bulma and Tio stood behind Momo with their heads down.
"Come here". Vegeta said as he opened his only remaining arm. The girls trembled a little and started wailing as they cling to Vegeta's body. All their eyes were puffed up as they cried their hearts out in Vegeta's embrace.
"I'm back". Vegeta smiled as he said to all the girls in the hall.
"Good to have you back". The girls chimed together as they forced a smile on their faces. They were feeling extremely guilty as they looked at Vegeta's missing arm. After saying the words, they put their heads down and didn't dare to look up at Vegeta.
"Vegeta". Vegeta heard a soft cry from the other side of the room and looked over to his mother, Aiko standing there with Jun. Aiko had tears rolling down her cheeks as she looked at Vegeta's condition. Jun was trying his absolute best to not cry when he saw his Son's condition.
"Mom, Dad". Vegeta said softly and walked over to them as he gave them a hug full of love. Both of them took Vegeta into their arms and Aiko cried even more.
"Looking at your condition my chest hurts. Make sure to not do anything like this in the future". Aiko looked at Vegeta with sad eyes as she stroked Vegeta's head with her hands. Vegeta just closed his eyes as he felt his Mother's care for him.
"Don't worry mom, I will take care". Vegeta said after he listened to his mother's words.
"And you girls, I am not done with you yet". Aiko looked over to the 5 girls and glared at them. She was feeling extremely angry when she found out the circumstances. The girls felt her glare and lowered their heads in obedience like naughty children, who had done something wrong.
"Is hero work more important to you than your own family. You nearly got us found and killed by going there. Look at Vegeta, his arm is missing all because of your stupid desire to go out and be martyrs". Aiko was scolding them with all that she had. She was furious that the girls disobeyed her words and got everyone in danger for no reason.
"But mother, people were having so many casualties". Momo got her head up and looked over at Aiko as she tried to argue.
"So what. They are strangers, they persecuted us before and you still want to help them. Do you think I will not allow you to go if circumstances are right". Aiko glared at her as her anger surged up when she heard Momo's words.
Momo heard Aiko's words and fell silent with nigh a chance of a comeback. The other girls also stood there silently as they heard Aiko's reprimands to them. She was extremely pissed and right now wasn't a good choice to confront her.
The girls started to silently cry as they apologised for their mistakes. Aiko looked at them sternly with no plan of letting them go yet. "Okay mom, let them go. They know their wrongs." Vegeta interjected as he put his hand on Aiko's shoulder.
"You shut up, they are spoilt all because of you. You will not interfere in this". Aiko glared at Vegeta as she said. Vegeta just helplessly shook his head and sat down on a sofa to recover his strength.
All the girls from DxD verse were sitting on different Sofas and looking at the 5 girls standing in the hall solemnly. They knew that currently was not the time to interject in tis matter as they were new here and weren't familiar with anyone here.
"All of you will get 1 day to spend with Vegeta then all of you will be punished accordingly". Aiko said sternly but didn't forbid them the time to spend with Vegeta. As she knew that they missed him and were just reunited anew.
"Thank you mother". All the girls shouted in unison as they bowed and showed happy smiles. At least getting punished will get them Aiko's forgiveness. This result was better than anything else.
