There. I said it. Somehow... but finally.

If the look on his face isn't shocked then I don't know what else it could be. I was surprised by how confident I had managed to make myself sound when I was shaking like a leaf internally. He was the one that proposed to me first and I'm still this nervous.

I had thought long and hard about it but I guess from the moment he confessed to me, I knew that I would say yes no matter the circumstances. Domenico seemed happy, or the happiest, when he saw Val on bended knee in front of me back on the ship.

I still scold myself for hitting him. One day when my child asks me how I got proposed to and how I reacted, I'll either have to lie or tell them that I hit Val.
