"Welcome home!" I ran into my mother's outstretched arms and hugged her tightly. "How was Leningham?" She asked, pulling away from me to look me up and down.

"It was so fun! Val taught me how to ride a horse, the restaurants were delicious, the people were all so lovely, we went to the private beach, explored the manor, walked down the streets while holding hands and talked about anything and everything,"

"Well, I can certainly see that you've been very active. You're glowing!" I blushed at her words, I guess you can't hide anything from your mother.

"We better start preparing to welcome a new member of the royal family," My blush seemed to only be deepening but mother was far too excited to notice and I can't really blame her for that. "If it's a girl then I want Charlotte but it's almost definite that it will be a boy, judging by both of our bloodlines," She gestured between Val and me.
