Chapter 158: SAMUEL

I felt like my heart stopped beating for a moment, and I forgot how to breathe. The time slowed as I felt the heavyweight growing on me that was driving me down with it. Was I dead? I felt light-weight.

I sucked a deep breath as I felt the familiar soothing scent engulfed me in its warmth. I felt a hard surface against me, followed by the sound of a wildly beating heart.

I slowly opened my eyes to meet the hypnotising ones. Another shot rang that made my head snapped towards it. I watched Kyle's bloodied body falling with wide eyes and open mouth. He fell face-first on the ground with a thud as blood gushed out of the back of his head. I lifted my eyes to see a man holding a gun in his hand.

"Sam" I whispered as he retreated his hand down.

"Samuel..."Aunt Caroline called his name in shock.
