Chapter 35: Chapter 35 - Sky Seizing Pearl

The voice that resounded was coming from somewhere in the dantian, but Kyle's spiritual power could not really feel anyone inside.

The voice as it turned out was coming from the pearl. As Kyle consciousness drifted to the white space, he saw the same pearl that he always saw.

"It is nice to meet you finally. You must have a lot of questions. Kyle." The pearl talked very slowly and methodically.

"Yes, I have too many questions to ask you. What are you and why you are acting as my system? This is not recorded in any of the manuals, nor anyone has the same pearl as I do." Kyle was eager to know what was different about him and his system.

"I don't have enough power to answer you just yet. I have only awakened thanks to your power increase, but you are still, far-far too weak for me. Reach level 5 and soul formation realm. Then I will awaken." The pearl spined in the air couple of times."You need to know now that when I entered your body in space/time crack that appeared when you transferred to this world, I consumed the system you had and replaced it with myself. What you can do with me goes far and beyond anything else." The pearl spined couple of more times and stopped completely, "I hope you enjoy my gifts. See you soon." It said, and Kyle got forcefully pushed out of the white space.

Kyle was now sitting inside his cave that he chose, and everything was still. The orange energy that caused the explosion was still travelling inside Kyle's body, slowly adjusting all of the meridians and little imperfections that were left. Sometimes the energy entered his bones. Sometimes it would travel inside his meridians.

The orange energy was fully powered by the pearl, and Kyle couldn't will it to do anything.

'I can still hear the explosion sounds in the distance, how much of a ruckus I have caused.' Kyle was too scared to check what was happening at the newly formed crater as there might be some suspicions.

Kyle knew that a newly levelled level 2 could be killed as an ant to high-level masters.

Kyle continued to check his body, and now he wanted to see how his qi was. At the current moment, the qi was still touching the pearl and every time Kyle moved. The qi would create a wave that would touch the pearl and enrich it with qi.

The waters seemed to be untamed and wild, just like the lakes that were rushing from one point to another.

Kyle breathed out, 'It seems that the qi didn't experience any shocking change, it was mostly my body that has changed so much. I am also glad to see so much qi in my dantian. Still, I can see how hard it will be for me to advance from this point on…' Kyle knew that in order to grow in Foundation Establishment, a normal cultivator had to constantly refine the qi that they had inside into purer qi with different, sometimes wild methods.

The qi would become much more concentrated and would start to reduce.

In order to break into the Golden Core realm, a Foundation Establishment practionist had to fully refine all of the qi in the dantian and make the density of the qi as hard as stone while still keeping it in the fluid form.

That was the hardest and the most profound step so far. Only one out of 100 000 cultivators would ever be able to touch upon golden core realm and even less would advance.

The cultivators and adventurers all knew that either level 3 or Golden Core realm singled a completely different hero than those below that level. The qualitative change was too much to ignore, and nearly every cultivator would have to spend at least 10 years in reaching that realm.

Kyle has now been in this world for around 3 months, and he was getting more and more used to this life. If anyone knew that Kyle has reached level 2 and Foundation Establishment in 3 months from being unlevelled and never practising cultivation, they would go green with envy and would try to kill Kyle. That was too heaven-defying.

Kyle only had the first layer of Dominion technique that taught him how to assimilate and move qi into his body from the surrounding ambient qi. The same movement and breathing techniques could be used to control the qi inside his body to improve the quality of the qi that he already had. The Dominion Technique second layer was most likely focusing on even higher realms that Kyle had no access to just yet.

His number one priority was still getting hold of the lighting element and lighting element affinity to train the Lightning Step and advance further in the Dominion Technique.

The forest in front of Kyle was the type of forest that would get struck by lighting during the rainstorms and even on the sunny days. There were many cases when adventurers travelling through the forest would be instantly killed by random lighting that was sent from heaven. It was the most stupid and unfair death, so practically none of the adventurers ever came here.

For Kyle, though, this was a great opportunity. First, he can observe the lighting. Second, beasts that had lighting affinity in that forest as surroundings and environment contributed the most to what element the beast can control.

Kyle checked his body last time before moving out, and the last difference that he spotted was the pearl itself. The storage area has nearly increased by 5 times, now being 20 metres(cubed) and the exp tank now had golden incrustations on the sides with a vial at the sides. 'I am not sure what it is and to be honest. I don't see a reason that I would want to let EXP leak out from the experience tank.' Kyle was confused.

Another area that has now opened up for Kyle was a crafting room with workbenches and sawmills everywhere. At there he could summon any item from the storage area and work on them here making them into whatever he desired. The most amazing thing was that the number of workbenches and different types appeared to be made of some unknown material that felt to the touch as steel and was incredibly tough. But, the material looked like black jade and was glittering.

The workbenches themselves were of many different kinds that Kyle never saw in his life. Starting from something that looked like a kiln to something that more looked like a witchcraft potion-making toolset. The system seemed to consider any possibility that Kyle would want to craft.

Kyle finished looking and decided to try crafting something.
