Two years and eight months had passed since Hoshi had changed Neji's fate a bit by preventing the Kumo-nin's death, therefore preventing Neji's father from having to sacrifice himself.
This resulted in Kumo having a much weaker position to make demands with and peace finally being secured, at least for the moment.
Hoshi took advantage of the newfound peace and resumed training in both Ether control and Chakra control, as well as trying to improve with his various Jutsu. He was awarded 'one free jutsu' from his system for saving Hinata the way that he did, but hadn't selected it yet given that many jutu's that he wanted were not available yet, and even if he had them, he had no explanation for why he had received them.
He had, in the past thirty-two months, continued visiting visiting Naruto and started visiting Hinata, though always in his Venti form. Hinata was a sweetheart,
Naruto had resisted Hoshi's teachings occasionally, growing bored with chakra control and wanting to learn cool jutsu's, so he gave Naruto occasional lessons on the clone jutsu. Naturally, Naruto was terrible at the jutsu, but Hoshi told him that he couldn't use it because he had too much chakra and the clone jutsu required so little chakra, that without perfect control, he would never be able to use the clone jutsu, which was required to graduate from the academy and become a ninja.
Whenever Naruto got bored with chakra control training, he'd remind Naruto that the clone jutsu was required to graduate, and that gaining a level of chakra control sufficient to use that jutsu was the first road block he'd face before he could become Hokage.
He made sure Naruto knew that his potential was enormous due to the immenseness of his chakra reserves, but that the larger ones chakra reserves were, the more difficult it was to control it
Using light-elemental ether (Lumino) had allowed them to become invisible while they were training together, which combined with her sealing techniques gave them the privacy they needed to do to in peace. It turned out that ether techniques were very efficient for hiding ones presence, even from the Byakugan, so rendering them invisible to others actually could conceal their chakra, which thus secured their privacy. He also started practicing fuinjutsu and calligraphy on many days when he did not visit Hinata or Natuto.
When Hoshi finally realized that he could put people into his 'inventory', it became his preferred secret training area for Hinata and Naruto.
Hinata had started getting stronger and gaining confidence, but she had heeded Hoshi/Venti's advice and been careful not to reveal it just yet. Once Pyra had gained the ability to finally take the form of Mythra, she had joined in with his training with Naruto, and with Hinata.
Mythra's sheer attribute advantage made her an impossible opponent even for Venti, unless you entered his god form, which he still couldn't maintain for long., Well, he hadn't really had Mythra train with Naruto but one time, just to show him how deep the sea truly was, to better help him with motivating him to learn the basics of chakra control. Hinata was a natural with chakra control, so when he and Mythra trained with her, it was usually taijutsu focused, with him and Hinata going against Mythra as a team.
But at last it was time for him to enter the academy. He was quite strong for his age, though he never actually managed to beat Mythra, even with Hinata's help.
Luckily, though, Hoshi wasn't full of pride and arrogance like a certain Uchiha, so he handled it very well. Anyway, Mythra was bonded to him as Blade and Driver
With the start of Academy life, though, it would be a bit harder to split his time with them, but he was still up to the task, and was relieved that he'd learned the shadow clone jutsu. Perfect invisibility and immunity to the tracking skills of shinobi was sure useful, so as Hoshi he'd been able to sneak into the hokage's office many evenings and gradually copied the scroll of seals.
He hadn't even tried to comprehend the other jutsus on the scroll yet, but kept the copy stashed away in his inventory space for future use.
The shadow clone jutsu would be crucial to his future efforts to train Naruto and Hinata without having his own potential limited. With future enemies like Madara, Kaguya, and the Otsutsuki clan, he needed to get as strong as possible to survive.
