Chapter 2: Chapter 2
I looked up from my locker and saw the Queen 3. I named them that because they're the queen of this school and they have 3 members. On the left with long blonde hair and brown eyes whom I tower maybe 3 inches (?) is named Olivia.
The one on the right with long jet black hair whom looked like she lacked in clothes is named Fiara.
None of those two caught my attention. But one did. Her name is Sam. She's flawless. She has shoulder length hair that is dyed with light pink. She has a light skin and doe brown eyes that made me feel hypnotized.
But she's as cold as ice but whenever I went near her, she feels warm. She makes me feel warm. I don't know how or why but I always felt attracted to her. Sadly, she just walks past me.
They're not bad, but they're not exactly good either. I felt a sting in my heart to what I just witnessed. Right. She's dating Rome. The typical jock of the school.
He's a star player, while I'm a sleeper. He's popular, I'm not. He's cool, I'm a nerd and most importantly, he's a guy and I'm a girl. Of course Sam would never be attracted to a girl. Who am I kidding?
I walked passed them with an aching heart and without a glance. I was walking peacefully when I felt something hot on my head and all over my body.
It didn't feel painful since I can also control fire. If you would put me on the sun, the worst situation I would be in is not finding a way back home. Well, if there is a home.
I looked around and saw my sister laughing. Of course she didn't know I wouldn't get hurt so I needed my acting skills. I dropped down and groaned like I was suffering.
She laughed harder when she saw students taking a picture and videos of me. This is private school so what do you expect? They get money from students so every student counts.
I walked away as usual and went inside the bathroom with a new fresh set of clothes. As I was finishing and just flattening my blazer, I heard the doors of the bathroom open.
From the laughs, I knew it was the Queen 3. They're talking about someone.
"Did you see the girl who got coffee all over her? That was the most hilarious thing I have ever seen!" From the voice, I'm guessing Olivia.
"Yeah, she looked pathetic. I just can't believe a nerd like her is the sister of Kiara. She's like, super gorgeous. Can you believe that Sammy?" I think it's Fiara.
"Yeah. She looked like she was about to cry. She doesn't belong here." I felt my heart shatter into tiny dusts with what I just heard.
W-why? Why is the world so cruel to me?! Did I do something wrong in my past life?!
I suppressed a sob until they went out. Hearing the doors click, I broke down. I know the world is cruel, but has it always been this cruel?!
I walked out and knew that I had only one place to go.
I was almost there until my sister and her friends laughed at me. "You are seriously pathetic! Did you really think that the clothes you wore were good on you? They should make uniforms for people like you so I don't have to see designer clothes go to waste."
She then slammed my back onto the lockers and the back of my head slammed into a sharp edge while my back hit the padlock. I groaned in pain knowing it'll either bleed or bruise.
My head felt light and the next thing I knew was that I unleashed a powerful magic that I tried so hard to hide.
