Chapter 18: Home
The morning of the forth day they got up and did their usual prep. Everyone is lined up at the gas station. Patients is in a better mood this morning. She rode with Bobby and the boys because they made her feel safe. They waited in line for their turn when a body slammed against the car. Dean got pissed off and got out of the car. Then he was tossed off his feet and into the car in front of them. Bobby pushed Patience down and grabbed his gun.
" Dean what's going on up there boy? What hit the car? Girl stay down, I'm trying to keep you alive. Sam what the blue blazes is going on out there? God damn IDJITS never answer when you need them to."
Then Sam dives back in the car.," Bobby I need silver bullets, these things are juiced up werewolves."
"What the Hell Sam we have never seen wolves during the day."
"I know Dean wants to try and grab a live one and take it back to the bunker."
"NO YOU CAN'T, WE WILL ALL DIE IF YOU DO."
"Okay that answers that then. Yo Dean Patience say no that's a bad idea."
"Awesome, Fine then we need more bullets. Get a move on Sammy."
"Did you hear that Bobby, more bullets."
"Listen you IDJIT I only have two more magazines left. Now stop belly aching and do your job. Give this one to Dean and aim for the head."
After another five minutes the gun fire stops. Dean opens the back door and helps Patience out. Bobby gets out the other door. They all look at the mess around them. Then Dean gets the other hunters to grab gas and start moving the bodies.
Ketch comes over and says," Is it just me or are they not changing back to human? I have never seen anything like it before. Have any of you?"
Patients bends down next to a female wolf and touches the necklace she is wearing. It's a good thing she is already close to the ground because she falls over and then her eyes roll into her head.
The boys are not sure what to do then Cass appears beside her. He sits down next to her and picks her up. He lets her lean against him. After ten minutes she starts coming out of the trance.
"Time is running out. We must hurry, he knows we are getting close. Everyday he will send out new monsters. We have to stop him before next month's full moon. If we do not he will devour the world."
"Okay Awesome, enough playing around, let's get this cleaned up and get home. We need to know what Garth has found while we have been away. We need to know what Crowley and the girls can tell us. Then we need to sit down and come up with a battle plan."
Cass cleaned up everything with a snap of his fingers. Then everyone got in their cars and they headed home.
Three hours later, Dean is showing everyone around and Sam is getting people settled. Cass is sitting next to patients while Clair is getting a room ready next to hers. Once everything has calmed down and everyone is settled in their rooms. Garth hands the guys a beer and says," The great Lord Cronos is known for eating his family to gain strength and nearly destroying the world before Zues and the others managed to suck out all of his powers and energy. When they realized they were being wiped out they made a deal with Chuck, he was supposed to make sure Cronos did not get any power. He was told what would happen if Cronos regained his strength. But the only way for him to be freed was for a super power to give him a jump start. So that means Chuck had to have started this chain reaction. Now we have to put him down. Though I am not sure how, but I am looking. Cass man can you ask Jack to go through Chucks papers and things to see what he can find please?"
"Awesome, Well we know he wrote a book about his life so we will have you wait and see if we have any luck with that? We know Chuck was vain so let's hope it's in there."
"As soon as Clair is done I will go explain things to Jack. To bad Metatron wasn't still around maybe he would know. Okay Clair I leave Patience in your capable hands please keep her safe. Patience please stay here where you will be safe. I will return when I know something."
After Cass left the group talked about lighter subjects and had dinner. Then everyone went to bed.
