Chapter 1: New Life
Looking into a barren forest, you would be able to see a pale young man lying on the ground. His eyes flickered open as he scanned his surroundings. Suddenly, an emergence of pain hit his head as he kneeled on the dirty grime of dirt, but not once let a sound out of his mouth.
'It seems I have been reborn, but somehow humanity can again attain divinity. But now these people live like primitive apes.' He looked around as he saw graves upon graves till the eyes could see. He proceeded to chant something at an unforeseen speed.
Suddenly, a hand came out of the black and grimy dirt as it slowly creeped out. Pulling itself above ground, the figure different from a mindless and fleshless atrocity has an appearance like any normal human being. But down to the molecular level, its cells have been strengthened dramatically. As well as its body frame, its intelligence and talent are like nothing seen in undead beings.
'What a strange phenomenon could this be? Is it due to this body being a direct descendant of a Holy God? For a mysterious reason, this boy has been stripped of his title and demoted to the lowest mortal realm. No matter, being an offspring of a God that can create virtually anything is very advantageous. I have a near-infinite amount of energy in my reserves.'
"Go and kill some animals for me, make sure their bodies are intact." He ordered his undead. 'Looks like my name is Cain Hodge.' Cain proceeded to stare at a branch as after some time the branches slightly moved. A kilometer away, we would be able to see a shadow teleporting at an insane speed. 'It seems like I finished my job, the kid shows no sign of breathing neither any life force.'
"It seems this body still has some danger in him for an assassin of that caliber to target me." He said. 'Thankfully I created an illusion for me to look dead, or else my fate would have been sealed before even hitting adulthood.'
He looked behind him as he says, "go gather some information on this world, be sure to lay low and don't create a ruckus unless necessary." He looked at the mountain of animals as he nodded while thinking, 'this is way too much however I'll just sell some at a nearby butcher.' "Wait! Cut some animals below the stomach with an edge of sharp stone", he ordered with his croaky voice barely able to let out a sound. ' I need to replenish this body unless I want to die of starvation, I will jus† replenish my cells with holy energy. Even though not as enjoyable it is thousands of times more benefiting.' Cain's body slowly reformed itself as his internal organs and outer body quickly deformed but reformed itself in the blink of an eye.
Many days passed as animals were attracted to the scent of blood and came close but he quickly took their life force as his life span jumped to 400 years 4 times what the normal human can live but he isn't exactly human.
As he looked back he saw a heaven-toppling beauty skin smooth as jade. As he brought up his hand and said, "Woah! it's a witch, never seen one in a while. As in the name of righteousness, I shall cure you and bring you under my wing,(whispers)The mark of slavery."
"MASTER! MASTER!" His un-named undead shouted. "what? Where is the beauty I was going to save?" He said in a confused tone. "Master, you have been daydreaming for 10 minutes." He ejaculated in a concerned manner.
"Anyways you may go ahead with your information," Cain said. "Ok, It seems master is on a realm without any people knowing of any sort of energy that improves one's strength. The current superpowers of this world are countries, Ottoman Empire, China (Ming), Portugal, Castille & Aragon, Venice, Circassian State (Mameluke Sultanate)and I believe soon are to be, united provinces of the Netherlands, Mughal Empire, Persia (Safavid dynasty), Commonwealth of Poland & Lithuania. Slavery is being normalized as people from Africa are taken or kidnapped mainly to Portugal, Spain, England, and France. Also, a new religion known Protestantism a root from Catholicism are emerging because the King Of England Henry VIII wished to court a woman but his religion restrained him. Truly an unruly world. I wonder how master will fit into this mess of a world..." He said.
