Chapter 1: Married away as soon as she was Transmigrated!

"Sesha, what rank did you get this semester?" Nami, a girl with freckles asked.

"Oh, I am 3rd in class; what about it?" Sesha was confused, Nami was never a person who would engage in small talk especially with a person whom she considered her rival.

"Whaaat?? I got 5th rank, who is first and second in class?"

"Why would I even bother to check it. I just came to know about my rank a minute ag..." before she could complete her sentence Sesha was pushed down the stairs and then lost consciousness.

****

"Sesha~... Sesha move your right hand forward!" an unfamiliar voice called out to her.

"Huh?" Still, in trance, sesha was unable to co-operate when someone grabbed her hand and stretched it outward.

She did not know what was happening, and when she started to get aware of her surroundings it was too late to regret it. SHE WAS MARRIED!!!!!

Looking around the place somewhat looked like the bridal chamber from movies. She spotted the dressing table and hurried over to take a look at herself.

She fell down the stairs, it was almost impossible to escape without getting hurt but here she was: totally unscathed!

When she looked at herself she was beyond shocked. Light brown hair with a hint of gold, clear skin, and hazel eyes.

But...

that was not her! she did not look like that at all! It was impossible!

"Sesha, are you okay there?" A middle-aged lady with black hair entered the room with worry all over her face.

Just then and there, some images flashed in her mind.

It was her mother; to be rather specific it was the original Sesha's mother.

"How can you just faint in the mandap(wedding Pavillion)" Sesha secretly rolled her eyes 'shes speaking as if fainting was a voluntary action'

The original host, whose name was the same as her's, died when she heard that it was her marriage that day. She was going to marry a person whom she never met, moreover she was just 14 yeas old village girl.

What she knew about the groom was that he was the son of the village chief and that he studied in the city far away from the village, nothing more.

Here, boys started their education at the age of 5 and girls at the age of seven or eight, mostly the parents would prefer to not send girls to school as they considered girls a burden and prefer them to stay home.

Her parents sent her to school only because it provided free lunch to everyone, and because she was the only daughter eligible for schooling, her younger brothers were too young to attend the school.

Marrying well was considered to be a woman's achievement here but the original sesha was different, she loved books and wanted to travel the world that was described in them.

All good things must come to an end. Her life was turned upside down when she was informed that she was getting married in 2 hours. Her parents owed a great debt to the village chief when he asked them to hand over the remaining piece of land under their name as payment. But they refused it by saying that they had a young daughter whom they have to marry off and that they only have that land for dowry.

When the village chief heard about her age, he immediately asked his subordinates about her. The subordinate described her as a meek and introverted kid who never got into fights, and that she was known as the most beautiful girl in the village.

So, her fate of seven lifetimes was decided just like that. No one asked her if she was willing or not. It was obvious.

Present time

Sesha was exasperated by the turn of events, just a couple of hours ago she was a college student who was admired as well as hated by her classmates, but now here she was sitting in a corner like an abandoned puppy being all confused.

She should've run away, who marries at the age of 14? Not to mention her so-called unknown husband. What if he was a 30-year-old pervert? Should she kick his balls and then run away? But where could she go? She was bound to be caught as she could not run far with this frail body. ARGGGGH!!!!

It was night already, Incandescent light bulb glowed yellow, the room was filled with the fragrance of rose and lilies spread on the bed. It was disgusting, she was desperate but helpless. Why could not she be like the female leads of the novel even if they transmigrate into some villainous character they at least have some time to prepare.

Keeping her worries and resentment towards the creator aside, she resigned to her fate. The physical as well as mental fatigue took over her and she fell asleep.

[ A/N:

To those who don't understand that why she doesn't know about her husband even after the marriage ceremonies, the reason is that the bride no matter the region she is from, has a veil covering her face not to mention that FL was dazed throughout the wedding ceremony]

'BANG!' The door was opened and Sesha who was half asleep was startled completely awake.

'damn you! can't you be careful? If you keep up with this the doors will fall off!!!!' cursing inwardly she stepped down the bed acting as if she was going to a war...

"huff..huff... s-sorry young madam b-but young master left for his school in advance and told you to follow him tomorrow." The servant was trembling, why would he not Sesha with red eyes and bed head looked terrifying plus this wasn't her usual meek and obedient aura and looked like a demon from a kid's nightmare.

Listening to the servant Sesha instantly calmed down and smiled at him frightening him to the point of pissing his pants. "you can go." in a calm voice, she asked him to get out.

The mahogany door closed slowly and once again Sesha was left to her own devices. Sesha was a little relaxed that the night would pass peacefully and that she had a few more hours to understand the current situation. She let out a sigh which she did not know she was holding.

No matter what, she does not hold this marriage accountable. Sesha was an apathetic and realistic person, marriage is a union of souls and this guy whom she married wasn't her partner he was meant for other sesha, not her.

'The servant said that I would head to the city in the morning, but in normal daily soap isn't the uneducated wife supposed to stay at home and fight her mother in law?' Sesha was confused 'Is it because I don't have a mother in law? It can be the only possible reason but... it's confusing'

Sesha closed her eyes in frustration and when she opened them again it was already the second day of her married life.
