Chapter 17: The Real Mission
They were quite shocked when they found the old man covered in blood and lying lifelessly in the store.
"Who the fuck did this!", one of the men shouted this when they saw that.
They were also confused because they knew the old man's power. Even if he was old, he was still a 4 Star Angel so it was quite unlikely for him to get killed by some noob or weakling.
"Damn! We need to report it to the boss...", immediately after saying that all of them left while taking all the items that were inside by storing them inside the storage ring.
The cops arrived soon and started their investigations too.
MEANWHILE...
"So you are telling me that someone killed Doras?!", a man shouted at the top of his voice when this was reported to him.
"Y-yes boss...", it seemed like all the men were scared of him.
"T-hat's ridiculous...", the man who was saying this seemed to be in his 30s.
He seemed quite experienced in many things. It seemed as if he had seen Doras fight many times due to which he could say for sure that Doras couldn't be killed by some weakling.
"It must be the work of one of the power houses.", the man said.
Anger was clearly seen in his eyes and it seemed as if he could burst out anytime.
He couldn't possibly see his own friend die in such a way. He wasn't the head of the Suzo family but was the brother of the head so in the head's absence he was leading the house.
He was also a 4 star angel and was S rank at that.
"Could it be... were they aiming for those things?", the man asked himself.
"You!", he called one of the men from his gang who had ben to the murder site.
"You have stored the items inside the ring right?", he asked.
One of the men who had a shruken face said, "Yes."
"Show me right now!", the man ordered immediately after which all the items one by one were removed from the ring.
"Hmm, a lot of items are still there, was it really someone who didn't know the value of these things?", he asked himself and thought for some moment on this matter.
AT THE SAME TIME...
"Ya, she had asked me to come today.", Jay said this to a man who was standing outside of the hospital room.
"Do you have any written notice?", he asked.
Jay shook his head and denied it. He said, "No, she just told me orally to come..."
The watchman wasn't ready to believe Jay and was about to prevent him from entering when suddenly he heard a voice from the window that was clearly visible from where he was standing.
"Allow him", doctor Iana who had asked Jay to visit called out loudly and said this to the watchman.
"Yes maám!", the watchman obeyed and allowed him to enter.
Jay then walked towards her office where he had come earlier by using the windows but that was because he was furious and tensed that time.
He was a human too so he did have some manners which was only visible when his emotions were stable.
Even a slight fluctuation in his emotions was more than enough to cause a disaster.
'KNOCK KNOCK'
"Yes!", the door opened almost instanly as if Iana was standing outside and waited for Jay to knock.
"That was quite fast...", Jay stared at her and said that.
"Hehe, I was waiting for you after all.", she replied.
Jay nodded his head and asked, "Ya, why did you ask me to come today? You wanted to give me something or what?"
Jay was quite curious because he didn't think that there was something that could fascinate him. So he wanted to see if she was capable to show him something that could pick his interest.
"Well, before I show you that or give it to you... have you really decided to climb the tower?", she asked again.
She didn't want to actually push him towards death because there was no one who ever returned after climbing the 10th floor of the tower.
It seemed as if anyone could return until the 10th floor but the moment they enter the 11th floor, the true trial starts and that's the point from where either only the corpse returns or the items.
No one has ever managed to come back in single piece from that place.
"Yes, I have already made my decision and I can't back out from it.", the reason for making such a decision was quite ridiculous.
He despised the word called family and hated all the family members till the core.
If he were to give an option of choosing his family or his life, he would definitely choose life so the reason that he was giving about reviving his mom and sis and all who were sacrificed was literally ridiculous in his case.
"Very well then, I can't possibly stop you right now but at least I can help you in achieving your goal...", after saying this she gave out a small scroll.
"What's this?", saying this he unrolled the rolled scroll only to find some drawings.
"Huh? This...", Jay was shocked when he saw that.
"Yes, these are the places that are present in the tower...", she replied with a smile.
Jay, who was an angel previously, had no idea about how the tower was since it wasn't created or made complicated when he was alive.
It was only after his death that such a tower came to existence.
But right now he was shocked by seeing the scroll which had the informations about the places in the tower.
"How did you get this?", he asked out of curiousity.
"Well, many a times the broadcasts that are shown has the details about these places. On top of that during some battles many places are shown. All I did was take a note of these places, hehe.", she smiled while saying this.
"This is no small note...", Jay was still surprised after taking a look at what that was.
It was completely detailed. He couldn't thank her enough for giving this since this would greaty helo in completely his real mission.
The reali mission and the main reason for which he is going to climb the tower - 'REVENGE'.
