Chapter 27: The Investigation - Part 1
"Yes yes, I will be reaching the area soon."
"..."
"Ya, I guess the investigation was a bit exaggerated, but I have to see for myself what it actually was!"
The latest white car model of XYZ company which was over 100 million USD arrived near the X street where many more cars and vans had been parked abruptly and in a non-uniform manner.
The vans definitely belonged to the news reporters who had arrived long ago to see the area and it was them who were spreading the news about the area.
The car was so extravagant that it caught all of theirs attention. The news reporters wondered who had made their appearance because having such a grand car was by no means a joke.
All of them were staring towards that directing intensely while most of them were running towards the area.
However they failed to get too close since a lot of men in black suit who were without a doubt some bodyguards stopped them.
Just by looking at them it could be concluded that some important VIP had arrived. Right now they failed to sustain the curiosity and waited eagerly to make the appearance.
All the reporters who had come to cover the news of the place got distracted and rushed towards the said person who visited, but there was one such passionate reporter who was still present near the bars that were but to obstruct others to enter.
"What's so good about a celebrity? I want to see what has happened here...", a lady at her 20s said this with a low voice.
She was quite fair and seemed as if she was new to this kind of job. Her yellowish golden hair that fluttered in the hair and her fair complexion could have easily given her a spot in the world of actors, but she decided to be a news reporter rather than some celebrity or actor.
Up till now all the news that were made was about what could have happened because no one was allowed to look at the scene clearly.
It was completely blocked by higher officials and that was why the news that were quite imaginative were too weird and exaggerated.
Nevertheless, the women who was standing there eagerly waited to take a peek at what had happened when suddenly a loud shout from the crowd of news reporters who had gathered near the car was heard.
"What happened...?", the lady turned her gazes for a split second towards the car only to find a rather dashing and handsome man coming out of the car while he was talking in the phone.
"It's Jin!!! The Lord Jin!!!", many of the female news reporters shouted at the top of their voice.
The same was for the male reporters who were shocked by his presence.
The man had dashing black hair and quite big eyes which were rather attractive. Moreover his fair complexion and his tallness gave him quite a recognition which made him look like some movie actor.
But in reality, he was an awakened angel and a high ranking one at that.
"Yes, I've arrived...", he said with a low voice in the phone while waving his hand towards all the people who had come there.
A lot of flashes were seen but that was non-existent to him.
He then slowly walked towards the huge curtains and rods that were placed to restrict others from entering when he paused and looked at the lady who had been staring him constantly.
'He is...', she didn't even care about him earlier but after looking at him, she was mesmerized by his looks.
"Ah? Do you want to come with me?", Jin asked with a smile.
The man who was rolling the camera was shocked to see him offering this opportunity.
"Yes...", the lady replied.
"But I have a condition..."
"A condition?", the lady asked.
"Yes, you cannot show the area or cover any news unless I ask you to do...", he said with a smile again.
The man who was rolling the camera agreed to that because they could at least publish news in paper about this later.
The lady too nodded her head vigorously right after which he asked the guards to allow them.
Perhaps, he wanted to give at least one news that was accurate.
All of them then entered and took a look at the area only to get surprised.
"Are you kidding me...?", Jin looked at the area with a shock too.
It was the same for the reporter and the camera man.
'What happened? Did you find anything?', the voice from the phone was heard even by the lady and the camera person probably because it was set to loud speaker mode suddenly by mistake.
Jin continuously stared at the area and then slowly lifted the phone and brought it towards his ears and said, "I must say... the news were false."
'Haha, I knew it. It was a waste of your time to go there...'
'The people exaggerated lot! haha!'
"No..."
"What I meant to tell is... the news cannot be compared to the actual fact because the destruction that has happened here in unimaginable!", a cold sweat broke out of Jin's face when he said that.
'Huh...? What did you say?'
"Yes... the destruction that has happened here is quite beyond the expectations..."
Jin was looking at the same hill where all the trees had bee destroyed. In fact, the entire hill had collapsed.
The little life forms that were present in the hill were already dead and the scene that was in front of him was quite shocking.
'What happened? Tell me clearly!'
"I'll tell you the details once I return...'', right after saying that he hung the phone and walked towards one of the trees that was right in front of him.
"This place... it feels lifeless. Just what the heck had happened here?"
He walked quite close to a tree and then gentle placed his fingers on the tree as if he was checking something.
