Chapter 5: Cross Country
*Back in England Safehouse*
A large Cybertronian appears and walks towards the terminal. When he gets to it he sees the coordinates on the screen. He then scans the area for any trace of those that were here. " You get too far, my precious little prey." He then turns and runs out of the base. he transforms into a jet and takes to the sky.
*Just outside New York City*
Me and RC left the port and are now on our way to Arizona. " So, What exactly are Autobots?" I ask. " We are, well, we were a resistance fighting against the oppression of the Decepticons. Back on Cybertron, we were at a standstill. I don't know if we won or lost, but our home world died, forcing us to retreat and search for a new home." I guess that explains why we're here. What is a Decepticon?" She remains quiet and I don't push any further.
We spend our time on the road mostly in silence. We made sure to keep our speed limit within the proper ranges to avoid being pulled over. After 16 hours, RC breaks the silence. " So... I noticed you have jet engines. Why don't you fly us there?" Obviously I didn't tell her they broke. " They were damaged during my entering Earths atmosphere. I would have flown us there otherwise."
" So... what else can you do?" ( WARNING. Recommending host not tell anyone of my existence) Ok I guess that's not up for discussion...hmm. " Well as far as I know, I have a built in blaster cannon in my right arm and a electro sword in my left. I can also transform into a sort of beast mode. Other than that and the flight, I don't know."
"Wait, wait, wait. Beast mode!?" She asks with shock in her voice. " Yeah, apparently I can turn into some sort of massive tiger like beast."," Hold on, so your saying your a Primal!?" Now it's my turn to be confused. " What's a primal?" She actually pulls the brakes this time and I am genuinely concerned by this point. " You really don't remember anything do you?" I remain silent. " Huhh... A primal is an ancient Cybertronian. They used to rule over Cybertron back when life was just getting started there. They were considered the wildest and most bestial creatures to exist. Not only that but they were highly intelligent. If not for them, many of the Cybertronians that are seen today wouldn't exist."
" What happened to them?" RC becomes solemn. " No one knows. From what we do know is that they left in search of something, but that's all we got from the records. Besides, there's a living relic right next to. If only you could remember then all of our mysteries could be solved." The last sentence brought excitement to her voice. " All those mysteries of our origins, the reasons behind your disappearance. This could change so much."
We then continue on our journey and along the way RC gets more talkative. She mostly asks about where I woke up and all things that happened between then and now. I tell her everything about how I came across a crashed ship and the Cybertronian Beast. I asked her if Cybertronian Beasts are like Primals but she says that they are just dumb animals that were quite common on Cybertron. Apparently they were mostly useful as hunters. Many used them when hunting criminals.
After another 37 hours of talking and driving we finally enter Missouri. "We're halfway there." I say. RC is clearly excited about getting closer to her comrades. We were making our way down a highway when suddenly a large Cybertronian falls from the sky and lands in front of us. We immediately transform and watch as the Cybertronian stands and walks towards us menacingly. RC, knowing who it is yells. " Starscream!!!??"
