Cooking,baking,scrubbing the floor, ironing and being a punching bag for my so called husband were my duties as being his wife.My name is Thandiwe Majola,my father is a well known business man that is responsible for bringing change in different villages.When I was 19 my father forced me to get married to some mans son who happend to be a chief of a village that had a great place that will be able to make money for my dad if he made a shopping center,I had just finished school and doing my first year in Medicine when all of that happened they made me marry him"Zwelakhe".A guy that went to business school in the village every girls dream husband,well he wasn't mine I was focussed on making my dreams reality being independent not being stuck with an egoistic,douce bag of a man,abuser and a mean husband.
It's a every girls dream to have a loving husband that supports them in everything that they do.A husband that will listen to his wife when she is talking,a husband that will bring butterflies to her wife when ever they look at each ,a man that will put a smile not tears on her wife's face.A husband that will make love to her wife like his life counts on it and every thrust is with love not being used as a sex worker and being fucked senseless like you're toy.
That's a fantasy to me am just stuck with this monster of a husband that doesn't show any signs of love towards me a man that only put on a show for public.We have been married for 7 years now more like 7years of hell,seven years of waste,seven years of heartbreak,7years of tears,7 years of a loveless marriage the list goes on and on.Whenever I think about the time I've wasted with him being in this house not being able to even go to finish my studies because I was told when I got married a WIFE'S DUTY IS IN THE HOUSE by my so called "PARENTS"!!.I am 26 years of age I don't have friends no one to talk to when I have problems not even my mom.I always regret the day I allowed my father to dictate my life if I was strong enough or even bold enough I could have stood up for myself against him.What will I teach my children one day?,will I be teaching them that you should always allow people to control you?.Wow am probably just going crazy thinking about childern right now.Zweli doesn't love children because he believes they are just a waste of money,energy and time of couples lives.
But for now I will just have to put up with the fact that I don't have a say in our marriage he is the master of everything.Thump!!,that sound brought me out of my thoughts "who could that be ?" I asked myself as I was putting away my cleaning materials and my question was answered as I heard a roar more like my husbands voice shouting for me in the kitchen."Thandiwe!!!Thandiwe!!!!where the fuck is that bitch!!!."Baba I'm sorry I was just....."he intereupted me "What were you doing wasting my money or probably doing nothing with your life?".I felt a stinging pain on my cheek and a pain on my stomach that's when I realised he was beating me I feel on the ground he took that as an opportunity to start kicking me in my gut.When he was satisfied with hitting me he lif;;ted my skirt and ripped of my undies ,I tryed to protest but he just said"My father gave away a very expensive and good looking piece of land to your dad, that gives me authority to fuck you however and whenever I want!!!.He roared into my ear making me flinch.Then said"You disgust me I don't know why I even put up with you".Those words were words he said to me whenever he felt satisfied after fucking me ,I never got used to them they always brought a stinging pain in my heart I felt tears flowing in my eyes as I made my way to the shower opened it and started to scrub myself roughly so trying to block the pain I felt I cried inside the shower until the were no more tears.Dinner wasn't gonna make it's self for him
