Chapter 92: Welcoming New Year
Days, weeks, months and years went by. As the time went by, many things had changed. Eager to welcome much awaited new year, everyone in the world was preparing for the celebration of new year.
In the mountain, where thousands of flowers and herbs grows all year long named Medicine valley, like previous years the preparation was going full swing.
The entire medicine valley was sweeped clean. Hundreds of disciples busy with pasting scrolls given by the elder's and their master. The kitchen was was bustling and buzzing in full excitement for the preparation.
The big training ground was being prepared grandly for the feast to happen tonight. Zhu Geng and Ning Xue were ordering left and right with instructions. While the elders were in the dining hall along with zhu mama waiting for Yusheng.
Soon with soft steps entered crowd of beautiful ladies. Ahead of them was Yusheng, who now like shedding herself from the cocoon had changed from that lovely looking doll to a beautiful teen.
Dark black hair that reached her waist, eyebrows that seemed to have been drawn by pencil but it was not, round blue eyes as if holding the sky within, clear and pure as spring water, eyelashes like a fan, curled on the tips, nose straight and cute, lips cherry red and teeth the whitest it can be. Her body though not grown entirely still had those visible curves.
Though she grew among them, they still felt awe seeing her each time. The word beautiful would fall short to compliment her.
With light and graceful steps, she reached and took her seat after being greeted by everyone. Next to them on further side all the servants also took their seat.
Soon the chattering among themselves had started , comparing to time much earlier now it was much more lively the maid and men servants would batter among themselves.
Xiaoqing and Bei were much composed and calmer among them, but one would not miss their eye talk and pink blushes on their cheeks. It seemed with time these two had developed special feelings for each other.
Talking about romance, elders and zhu mama were about to go bald thinking how there lustrous cabbage has already been targeted by the pig named Pei Jin.
Each month there would be exquisite gifts and letters delivered to Yusheng not to forget he himself managing to somehow breach the valley to meet Yusheng. As a bribe he wouldn't forget to gift the elders and zhu mama resulting them to shut their mouths and turn blind eye towards his intentions.
After the lively breakfast, everyone went on to attend their duties. Like everyone Yusheng was also eager to welcome the year, as this year will be the start of her journey to avenge herself. Each day though thoroughly busy she never stopped the count down for this year.
Sitting behind her study table, tapping her finger on the desk she was revising the plan and soon to happen drama that the entire world would see. But there was also that anticipation of meeting Pei Jin.
In these years she had given lot's of thoughts on her feelings towards him. Guessing and questioning herself a million times and only then she was able to accept the reality of having fallen deep for him.
It was not the gifts or sweet words rather his honest warm eyes which had pulled her little by little. The love, adoration, trust, will to go through against everything, possessiveness, and most of all the desire to be the only one till hair grown grey for her that oozed as if wanting to gush out like a fountain from his eyes was what made Yusheng fully believe and fall for him.
Never had she thought that she would fall for a man in this life which she had promised solely to avenge. But now was filled with more than that. Looking at the jade ball carved with pheonix to hold the paper down her eyes warmed up as it was given by Pei Jin.
All these years, it amazed her as how he would gift her things whether wanted or not. As if leaving traces everywhere small and big things given by him were placed here and there through the manor.
It has been a long time when the valley had to prepare anything for her as Pei Jin would have send numerous, exquisite things in enormous amount. The clothes, jewelry, shoes, herbs, tea almost everything she used as basic necessities was provided by him.
The quality and quantity far surpassing to anybody making her feel helpless and happy at the same time. She wondered if he would come tonight to celebrate the coming of new year. Just she was lost in her thoughts time slipped slowly welcoming the night and moon to shine.
