Chapter 53: Demon King Finale.
There was a moment of pause, everyone on the rooftop was surprised at seeing Shi-Woon jump and block the Demon King's way. But that moment of silence didn't stay for much, on a bout of speed the Demon King punched Shi-Woon on the face sending him tumbling down.
Shi-Woon lost consciousness, immediately the Chundomoon heir went to Shi-Woon's rescue. If I am not mistaken they fought some days before and Shi-Woon impressed him by the sheer strength and intensity of his spirit. I am just sad I wasn't able to see that fight, it may not have many techniques but it was one of those fights worth watching for. But I guess just seeing the completely Murim alliance invasion is more than worth it, just the sheer amount of techniques I am copying right now will make me a powerhouse when I am able to use them.
The Demon King then advanced towards more Bodyguards his mind focused on only one objective. His attacks were heavy and powerful, with only one kick the demon King completely broke and deformed the hand of one of the bodyguards sending him unconscious to the ground, the other soon followed their comrade fate and were send to the ground.
One particular big bodyguard was able to hold the Demon King by his back. While he was holding the Demon King he screamed for the other to help. But before anyone could attack the Demon King he jumped into the air, the big bodyguard still holding him. Mid-jump he adjusted his body with a burst of strength he smashed the bodyguard into the ground.
The Demon King prepared to kick the downed bodyguard, but when he least expected it he received a powerful roundhouse kick that's ent the Demon King flying away for quite a distance. The new arrival is the Vice Alliance chief, Kang-Sung the Sammoonryong (Three Arts Dragon).
Kang-Sung was with a pretty serious appearance, which continued to nothing in dissuading the surprise on seeing him knock back the Demon King, liking it or not a Sammoonryong is six titles less than a Goomoonryong. But I guess even if the titles are impressive what matters the most is the real-life stuff.
The Demon King got up with a jump and started assaulting Kang-Sung, people screamed ins uprise at the sudden movement of the Demon king. but Kang-Suing maintained a calm facade, simply avoid the punches of the demon King showing his superior level of skill. That does not mean that the Demon King is unskilled, on the contrary, he is extremely so, but the [Black Origin Threshold] isn't exactly fit to be used in tandem with well thought and precise skills, it's a berserker state after all.
The Demon King send a particularly nasty punch towards Kang-Sung, But Kang-Sung avoids it with a side step and sent an upwards hook towards the Demon King's face, that upon hitting sent the Demon King flying back spinning in the air. The Demon King hit one of the fenced walls of the border of the rooftop, the impact of such a punch was great and the demon King isn't getting any better.
But the demon King got up looking like that Punch barely affected him. Geeting on guard Kang-Sung's presence could be felt even from here where I am at. Both his presence and technique are impressive, and I am sure all hell copying it down.
But before any more conflict could start Shi-Woon enter in between both fighters intending on stopping the fight. For a second time, Shi-Woon tried to talk with the demon King begging for Chun-Woo to come back to his senses.
The Demon King stopped for a moment, seems like the words of Shi-Woon made him falter on his steps. From here I could see the terrifying aura/spirit from the Demon King wavering a bit. The Demon King looks at his right hand and brings it upon his face. For a moment everyone was still, a silence permeating the whole of the rooftop, the demon King that was unstoppably rampaging until now stopped for a moment.
Holding his head with both hands the Demon King let out a terrifying scream that surprised almost everyone. Then the demon King attacked, but before the demon King punch could connect Shi-Woon was able to punch the Demon King's face first. The Demon King was sent flying and hit the ground. Everyone got silent again, the sheer surprise of a noob like Shi-Woon attacking the Demon King and succeeding was something to behold.
The demon King of course got up again and face Shi-Woon. But this time it wasn't the demon King that answered Shi-Woon pleas, it was Chun-Woo.
Kang-Sung was willing to talk, so politely he started a conversation with Chun-Woo. Sadly any kind of possibility for diplomacy was crushed when the alliance chief arrived with a flying kick on the Goomoonryong's face. Of course, I was able to tell that this motherfucker was feigning weakness all this time, I guess he was just waiting for the right moment to attack and the Demon King was too strong for anyone for that matter, so he waited until the effect of the [Black Origin Threshold] stopped.
Taking Shi-Woon as a hostage the Alliance chief started threatening the Goomoonryong, two members of the [Black Forest Defense] surged to help Goomoonryong. The chief started threatening the Goomoonryong more and more. The people of the Audience couldn't help but boo at how despicable the chief is. The Goomoonryong face seems to be very nervous looking at such a familiar situation, it's almost equal to what happened with him and his master after all.
The alliance chief started digging his finger into Shi-Woon's neck inflicting great harm and pain on him, Shi-Woon couldn't help but scream in pain, while the Goomoonryong looked at it helplessly. Seemly deciding on something the Goomoonryong started to slowly advance towards the chief.
On a complete twist, the Goomoonryong expel Shi-Woon as his disciple and punches his Ki center with a special technique. From here I couldn't help but wince in pain... Shattering someone Ki center is something evil, and from here I could see how the punch shattered it it hurts just from seeing it, but I didn't avert my gaze, such a technique is bound to be incredibly useful in the future.
Goomoonryong punch was so strong that it sent both the alliance chief and Shi-Woon flying. Shi-Woon started to lose consciousness due to the huge shock of having his Ki center shattered. After that things sort of went downhill, Goomoonryong picked up the helicopter with the [Black Forest Defense Group] and went away.
Everyone on the rooftop was extremely surprised about what happened and started to get their shit together. For me that is my call to run away, the fight has already ended and I am pretty sure I won't be seeing new techniques from here any time soon. So better get out of here before anyone decides to check this building in more detail.
