Chapter 129: TH_001
"DEUS! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! CARE TO EXPLAIN ABOUT THIS!" The Defense Minister screamed to the top of his lungs while pointing towards a large television, that showed two orange monsters that were surrounded by the green monsters.
"Yes! Those two orange ones in the middle are called Flatter. They're one of the types of "General" of the Merge army and those green ones are Merge Wing. They are the ones that you asked for Sir." Deus eagerly explained and pointed towards the television screen while the Defense Minister stared towards him.
"WHY DID YOU SEND THEM?! DIDN'T I TOLD YOU TO JUST SEND TWENTY EACH OF THE MERGES THAT YOU SHOWED ME?!" BAAM! The Defense Minister harshly asked while he slammed his hands to his table.
"Well, I thought it wasn't enough. And when I saw their headquarters I feel like it was an amazing place to test out Flatters, because I didn't have enough space to test them." Deus calmly answered.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO TEST THOSE THINGS?! DIDN'T I JUST GAVE YOU A LARGE SPACE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO?!" The Defence Minister asked and drank a large glass of water.
"Yes, Sir. The space you gave me was perfect for testing the other Merge but let me show you why that space wasn't enough for Flatters." Deus quickly opened the tablet that he was holding and showed it to the Defense Minister.
The Defense Minister quickly snatched the tablet off Deus's hand and looked towards a picture of the remains of a mountain that have the top half of it flattened "That is what happened when a Flatter use their power. Half of that mountain was wiped from this earth because of one of them and that was one of the King base, Sir. It's a win for us Sir."
"FINE! THAT'S GOOD! BUT YOU HAVE TO OBEY MY ORDERS! REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN DO YOUR CRAZY EXPERIMENTS HERE IS BECAUSE OF ME! IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE, DO YOUR BEST IN YOUR EXPERIMENTS AND LISTEN TO ME! NOW GET OUT FROM HERE!" The defense Minister shouted and pointed towards the door of his office.
Deus bowed towards the Defense Minister and quickly gets out of the Defense Minister's office while the Defense Minister sat down on his chair. Deus slowly closed the door and walked back to his laboratory while cleaning his ears "Man, why is he that angry? Whatever I guess it's time to make more Merge. I love this job! I can experiments with whatever I want without worrying about anything! This is the best!"
Deus arrived in front of his laboratory and quickly entered it with a wide smile on his face, Emma quickly turned her head around and looked towards Deus who walked towards his table while whistling a happy tune.
"What happened there? I can still hear his shouting in my head." Emma asked while she brews two cups of coffee.
"He was angry because I sent Flatter and Merge Wing. He told me that I have to obey his orders if I want to keep experimenting, so I guess I have to do that." Deus explained and sat down on his chair.
"You have to do that and here, drink this," Emma said while she put down one of the cups of coffee on the edge of Deus's messy table.
"Thank you, Emma." Deus picked up his cup and smiled towards Emma who smiled back. She turned around and went to her table, she sat down on her chair and continue her work on reading a couple of Project files.
"Emma, can you send me the feed of the two Flatter tubes?" Deus looked towards Emma.
"Yup, give me one second," Emma answered and quickly typed on her pink keyboard which was glowing brightly.
Ping! "Thank you, Emma." Two tabs suddenly opened on their own on Deus's computer screen.
Deus looked towards the tabs as one of them showed a live feed of a bright orange tube that has a small curled-up fetus floating in the middle of it, while the other showed an empty tube "Wow, It works but I have to make sure that it regenerated the right one."
Deus zoomed into the fetus and suddenly smiled widely as he saw a ring of thorns around its face which slowly grew "Amazing! It actually works! Project : Pheonix is amazing!"
"Congratulations, Deus." Emma smiled towards him.
"I was doubting that it could work, but listening to what you told me was the right way. The body of a human but a mind of an animal was a perfect combination! And we can still upgrade her, make her way more powerful!" Deus suddenly jumped out from his chair.
"I'm sooo excited! Emma, can you bring Thousand Hands tube to the platform? I want to take a look at him and please clear the tube of Flatter that I didn't give Project : Pheonix." Deus grabbed his coat which was laying on his chair and puts it on while walking towards the glass door beside his door.
Emma nodded and quickly went to her computer, she pulled up a program that showed rows of circles that have unique numbers on them and grabbed a piece of paper from the edge of her table "Thousand Hands... Where are you? Hmmmmm... Ah! There you are! 6AB2."
Emma looked to her computer screen and quickly pressed a bright red circle that has 6AB2 drawn in the middle of it. CHHHHK! GRRRR! GRRRR! GRRRR! Emma looked forwards and saw that the long line of tubes suddenly rotates, she laid her back on her chair and slowly reads the paper that she was holding.
CHHHHHK! DOOM! Deus arrived at the platform and the line of tubes suddenly stopped. He looked forwards and smiled "There you are beautiful! Let's see if you can start on your trials."
BEEP! Deus pulled out a scanner from his lab coat pocket and scanned a large barcode that was in the middle of the dark red tube. A phone was attached to the top part of the scanner and it suddenly lights up while Deus looked towards it "Your vitals are normal and your limbs generated perfectly. Amazing! You can start your trial now!"
Deus pocketed his scanner and quickly ran upstairs. He took off his lab coat as he entered the laboratory and looked towards Emma "Emma, inject Thousand Hands with the program that I made and send him to the test area."
"What was the program name again? I forgot." Emma asked while she scrolled through the documents on her computer.
"TH_001. And don't forget to do the list that I gave you." Deus sat down on his chair and sunk himself into his computer.
"Yes, I'm in the process of making the Merges that you asked me," Emma answered while she dragged a file that was labeled TH_001 and dropped it into 6AB2. A small window popped out and asked her if it was an injection, she clicked yes and went back to her work.
CHHHK! PSSSSH! A large transparent needle suddenly came from the roof of the dark red tube and instantly flew down stabbing the large figure that was inside of it.
"CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" A bright blue liquid drips down the long transparent tube that was connected to the needle, and a high-pitched scream echoes the gigantic room, that was filled with colorful glowing tubes.
"So... How many of the guests that we managed to capture?" Falde asked and plucked a burned feather from one of his wings.
"We managed to capture one hundred and twenty of them, and from the looks of it, we can divide all of them into six different kinds," Turme answered while looking back towards Falde.
"The ones that we managed to capture are not that strong. Except for that last one which disintegrated, that thing was pretty powerful." Ox said.
"Yeah, that last one was something else. What kind of attack do you think is this?" Octo asked.
"I'm not really sure, but the government is making a lot of movement right now. Things can only go worse from here because Bangarang is making a lot of movement as well." Turme explained.
GRRRRRRR! "Sorry, everyone. I'm a bit hungry." Ox smiled and rubbed his belly while everyone was looking towards him.
Ting! Tong! "We have to retrieve the report of those guests from Mad Man and report about them to the King," Turme said while the elevator door opened. The King's guardian walked out of the elevator after thanking Claire.
Octo quickly walked ahead and stopped beside Ox while looking towards him "Why don't you come with me after the report? I'll cook you something special and we can share the stories of our missions."
"Really? You don't mind?" Ox asked while looking towards Octo who nodded.
"Okay, I'll take that offer! Thank you, Octo." Ox smiled warmly.
"Hey, Ox. Just a warning I think you won't be eating anything if you come with her. I'm sure she will be the one- OW!" Falde stopped and looked towards Octo who pulled one perfectly healthy feather.
Octo stared towards Falde while snapping the feather that was in her hand "Ooops. I plucked the wrong one! I was sure I pulled one of those burned ones, my bad. Do you need some help to pluck all of those burned feathers?"
"No, no, it's alright. I can pluck all of this alone thank you." Falde folds his wings tightly and quickly walked forwards right beside Turme.
"Hello there, Mad Man. Did you get the bodies that I sent you?" Turme asked as he stopped in front of a shiny metal table with Mad Man behind it who was staring towards a large tablet.
"Yes, I got them, and thank you for bringing them to the back. I don't think my team and I can carry all of them to the back. I'm waiting for the results now and it will be done in just a couple of minutes." Mad Man explained while looking towards the King's guardians.
