After that, they all started their training and vowed to shock the whole world when they move out.
Three years passed in a flash. During these years, the party spent most of the day training. They competed with each other daily. The old man didn't leave them live in peace, he would toss them in life and death battles every month. Although it was dangerous, they were all excited. Geno didn't know if it was his influence or what but everyone seemed to be very excited when they fight.
During this time, their physical strength increased due to the hell training. The old man trained their body to the max to make them able to keep up when Geno activated his 'Black Hole' ability.
Their Nen didn't stay dormant, On the contrary, Due to the concentration on the foundations and life and death battles, their Nen multiplied several times and they were able to integrate their new Nen abilities in their fighting style.
Their cooperation reached the top and they were able to execute organized attacks.
During this time, Geno's Nen multiplied several times. His body strength improved and was able to switch between his different modes freely now. He was able to activate his second mode The Destroyer although it was an embarrassing accident.
He finally knew what the battle last meant. When he was fighting his cousins, a weird feeling passed through his body, and his facial expression changed. While he was fighting, he got an erection from the excitement. When his cousin Lylia saw this, she pummeled him to the ground and kept screaming at him.
After this horrible beating, Geno vowed to never fight against her again. He would fight the old man alone. During one of the fights with the old man, his battle last activated and he was able to enter the second mode after some injuries from the old man.
When he activated the second mode, he couldn't break off the fight even if he wanted. His body fought against his will. He only stopped after the old man kicked his ass. Then the pain took over him and he screamed his heart out.
He kept experimenting till he could barely control his actions in this mode. It was hard as it felt like his body was a beast that needed to be controlled. He couldn't find a trick to maneuver the condition of fighting till his opponent is defeated. So he decided to only activate this mode in a life or death battle or with the help of one of his cousins by initiating the fight then defeating them fast to fight the real battle with full control.
He managed to create an overpowered ability in this mode too.

Although it was an overpowered ability, taking into consideration that he only could use the destroyer mode for an hour and couldn't break a fight without defeating the main opponent responsible for activating the mode, it was reasonable.
During these years, he managed to squeeze some time to mark his cousins with his sub ability 'heart of Athena' which could take them to his second dimension in case they were in fatal danger.
He also designed his next Nen abilities but waited for another two years before creating any other ability. He didn't want to be hasty and crate an ability that he might not be of use later.
He spent some of his time with his sister Gina who was five this year. When she learned that her brother and cousins were going out and leaving her alone, she cried her heart content and demanded that they took her with them.
Geno spent a lot of time convincing her to wait till she became six and the old man will teach her Nen personally and after becoming proficient enough she could join their party. Lucky for him, his uncle jack and uncle Note married in those years and had children that could distract Gina.
After Gino's tenth birthday, when they were readying themselves to leave. The old man sent their butler, Edd, to ask them to see him. When they gathered in the training ground, they saw the old man waiting for them.
"What is it, old man? We still need to prepare." Asked Geno with an annoyed voice.
"Shut up brat. Well, I gathered you all here to tell you about some secrets. You all are old enough to hear them now. The secrets are about the Dark Continent. So all of you set around me, the story will take some time." Said Xeno.
Xeno, then, began his explanation about this part of the world, about lake Mobius, etc.
"Well, those are some general knowledge with some privilege, you can find about them. What I am going to till you now is the secrets, some are known to some people, the others are only known by our family." Said Xeno.
" As I told you the human ancestors originated from the dark continent even the magical beast that lives here. That is also a known secret what is not known is that some powerful humans didn't leave with the rest and decided to keep living there. They built a settlement in the middle of the dark continent for themselves." Explained Geno.
"Those humans, through a hard and unbearable life, we're able to make a place for themselves in the dark continent. One of the families that lives there are the Sept family. Due to the continuous attacks of the Beasts and different creatures, it became unbearable to live there or raise a child so the children were often sent here. But the intelligent beasts intercept and kill them." Xeno kept explaining.
