Chapter 295: CHAPETR 295: STAY AWAY!!!
Up to this moment, they were still completely confused at the turn of events.
Saphira called for Willow and Drake urgently and they thought they were going to fight, yet the moment they appear, Saphira made Stormie enclose all of them in a wind dome. Not allowing them to see what it was that was known as the greatest darkness of Flora.
Hunter glanced at Nixon and seeing as he was focused completely on Stormie he gestured for the rest to go out.
"Do you remember the kidnapping case where Nixon lost his memory?" he asked them.
"The case where his fear for women sprouted from?" Drake asked.
All of them heard that it was because he was abused that caused him such fear.
"When I stepped out of that dome a while ago, I happen to see what really caused it," Hunter answered.
He gritted his teeth not knowing how to answer before taking a deep breath and telling them about it.
Willow's hand flew into her mouth and fear enveloped her heart.
Drake and Ridge became disgusted wanting to throw up.
Felix remained silent but was still overwhelmed by the information.
"Stormie and Saphira witnessed it as well?" Willow asked.
Though even without Hunter replying, she remembered that it was Stormie and Saphira who actually found Nixon.
Hunter nodded his head, "The reason for their reaction was so his trauma wouldn't resurface. You do remember he wasn't simply afraid back then. He was afraid of all opposite gender without truly realizing the reason behind it."
They nodded their heads.
"Now with a trigger, even if Saphira and Stormie would want to cover it up, he will surely start wondering and remembering everything. I need you all to be ready in case that happens."
Because Nixon's fear of women back then caused him to lose control of his ability ending with him almost choking the servants coming close to death.
The other four nodded their heads but still couldn't fully wrap their heads around this information.
It was a memory that was locked up for so long yet who would have thought that it would suddenly resurface.
"Get a few things that the two might need, this way you will have an excuse for leaving without calling him. Both Felix and I will stay outside," Hunter finally said.
True to his words, Nixon wasn't simply worrying about Stormie but was trying to understand that immense disgust he felt when that scene appeared a while ago.
He knew it was Flora's darkness but why did it have such an effect on him?
While he was thinking of this, he realized that the others were gone yet just as he stood up, Drake and Willow returned with a few things in them.
Ridge was said to be creating more potions since they were close to finishing up everything he had created.
"Felix and Hunter?" he asked.
"They are patrolling the surrounding to ensure nothing bad will happen. Since two of us were down," Drake replied.
But deep inside he was in turmoil, Willow was the same that she didn't dare look up at Nixon.
Nixon just oh'ed before sitting down again.
Seeing him deep in thought, Drake diverted his attention.
"We really have no choice but to face those we look up to in the past, don't we?"
The thought of Flora doing that to Nixon made him shudder in disgust when he said the words looked up to.
At the same time, Nixon and Ridge liked playing with Flora as children. Yet that same person was actually a double faced person who was even more devious than the rest of the people.
Nixon chuckled not noticing the changes in Drake, "We have no other choice. They were overcome by darkness from the get go."
"Overcome? Or were they the bad guys from the get go," Willow couldn't help but say.
She remembered Samuel and Chester and now, the worst being Flora. She always wanted to save them when they found out that their bodies have survived and were only being ocntrolled.
But now that she knew they were all but dark people, she didn't even know if she wanted to save their bodies or simply burn them down.
The only thing that keeps her rational was the fact that Saphira was the one who spoke up that all bodies shall return home.
Because it was still a fact that they were good towards their own families.
And those families missed these people dearly.
Willow once again thought today that Saphira was the kindest soul she had ever seen.
No wonder the light ability was born inside her instead of someone else.
They fell into silence, and even though Drake wanted to divert Nixon's attention.
Trying to keep on talking will only arouse his suspicion even more.
He could just wish that Nixon won't remember at all.
But just as they have feared, due to the trigger Nixon ended up having the worst nightmare of his life right beside Stormie.
He fell asleep while sitting down and when he woke up, his face was pale and his eyes were unfocused.
Stormie woke up with the feeling of having difficulty in breathing.
When she opened her eyes she was shocked to see that she was in a water bubble.
Using her own wind she removed the water surrounding her head allowing her to breath.
Coughing furiously she found that not far from her stood a terrified Nixon.
He wasn't looking focused at all.
And he kept repeating the word No.
"So it still ended up being triggered," she muttered before using her wind to expel the water.
"Nixon!!" she called but he backed away.
"No, stay away. Stay away. STAY AWAY!!!"
Water rushed to her enveloping her once again.
But the commotion alerted the other six.
"Wha- NIXON!! STORMIE!!" Ridge shouted.
Hunter told them about the story and what happened today could be a trigger, Felix had been nervous since then because Nixon was just beside Stormie.
Yet the others didn't say anything about this that he could only hold his worry inside.
He rushed to disable Nixon having heard of the story and seeing how disturbed he is.
"DON'T!!!"
