Chapter 26: Demon Lord's castle (2)
{Part 1}
Immortal Demon Lord Atoferatofe.
She is a very famous Demon Lord.
Her first appearance in history is the second Human-Demon Great War.
[5 Great Demon Kings] Immortal Necross Lacross's daughter, shock troop of the Demon Race.
Low intelligence, but wields tremendous battle prowess and tenacity, a cruel and feared Demon Lord.
But, perhaps because of her low intelligence, her supply route was cut.
Captured by humans, she was sealed.
Her revival happened before the Laplace Campaign.
Demon God Laplace revived her personally, and she became his most feared Demon Lord. After the Laplace Campaign, defeated by North God Kalman, she surrendered.
It is said, that North God Kalman and Demon Lord Atofe had a child, who became North God Karuman II.
It is also said, that North God Kalman taught Demon Lord Atofe everything he knew of the sword.
And it it is said, that North God Karuman II's sword art was taught by none other than Demon Lord Atofe herself.
In summary, Atofe is a veteran of uncountable battles, a protege of the original North God, and also immortal.

Reinhard held his great sword bigger than his entire body above his head and confronted Atofe
"Sword God Style, huh!" Atofe said
She happily unsheathed her sword without separating eye-contact from Reinhard
"I'll tell you beforehand, the Sword of Light is ineffective against me."
Reinhard has heard about the Legend of the Immortal Demon Lord.
Immortal Demon Lord Atofe can never be defeated.
She doesn't have any technique.
Her sword is dull and slow.
She just can't die.
No matter how many attacks she takes, no matter how many fatal wounds she sustains, she won't die.
She will rise even after receiving any type of attack.
And then gain victory at the end.
That is the Immortal Demon Lord Atofe.
There are only less than 10 veterans, including one of the Three Heroes' Demon Slayer, who were able to oppose her during Laplace's military campaign.
Feared as the symbol of dread, the only one who was said to have solely defeated her was the North God Kalmann 1st. Her very own husband.
"Hey, say something."
Reinhard doesn't talk. Just facing this legendary being, even he wouldn't be so arrogant to do so.
Even with his vague memories from alternate timeline, his body was only of that of a 10 years old.
However he had a card that would be able to stand against the same ground with an Immortal. And that key role for victory rest upon Sylphy's shoulders.
"Well, there was a fellow like you who concentrated all the nerves and fired an extremely powerful blow...."

"Fufu, I remember it since I have good memory. Although that blow never did reach me and I smashed that person with my fist like a frog."
Atofe might have recalled about that time.
"How about it? Reinhard Greyrat. It's a once in a lifetime gamble. Would you expose ungratefulness in front of your trusting comrade... or is it honor?"

"My neck is right here. If you take my head back home, you will be regarded as a hero of the Human Race and leave your name in history for eternity."
Striking her neck with a 'tonton' is Atofe.
With an expression that is overflowing with self-confidence.
'This human child won't be able to kill me.'
That sort of self-confidence.
The surrounding Imperial Guards are sighing. 'Ah, Atofe-sama is getting negligent again!' and sighing.
Nevertheless, against heroes, letting them get one attack in is an unavoidable disposition for the race of the Immortal Demon Lords.
"Sylphy, let me borrow your power."
"Your wish is my command my Lord."
Whipping her wand, Sylphy's Mana redirected upon Reinhard's sword.
It gleamed a little shining golden light receiving a huge amount of Mana.
"Gaaaaaaa!!!"
Reinhard's sword took flight launched at the fastest speed.
It travelled the shortest distance towards Atofe's nape.
Even with the weight of the sword, the speed behind the attack was still incomprehensible.
The surrounding Imperial Guards can barely keep up.
Atofe with her vast amount of battle experience was able to defend herself with pure Touki.
SPARKSSSS
A sound of metal against metal crashing against each other with enormous force reverberated to the entire castle.
Cracks formed, and deep craters destroyed the jet black sturdy mineral that made the castle.
To everyone's surprise, Reinhard's sword went through the Touki's defenses.
And without changes, it goes through without problems as it severed the head– If only it would be that easy.
Reinhard's sword was stopped halfway through Atofe's throat.
"Tch... Countered huh."
Atofe's sword was sticking through Reinhard's torso, who also defended his skin with Touki.
Even without armor, Touki is sufficient enough defense.
However his internal organs was still damaged by the shock of the counter attack.
Sylphy assisted as she controlled her magic and sent healing magic to Reinhard's injury and it recovered rapidly.
"Healing Magic without incantations!"
"And in a distance too!"
"How old is she?"
"Where did these kids came from?"
"And with that hair! Without a doubt she had a very strong factor of Demon God Laplace-sama!"
Those guards marveled by how much mastery Sylphy did with her magic.
It was common sense that healers need direct contact upon doing healing magic. It takes a true master of magic to do such a feat. Not to mention she's able to use Chantless magic without incantations. Her potential is boundless.
"Good! Not only you have a massive potential with your sword art, I'll have that comrade of yours join my guards as well!"
She's already speaking as if she had won already.
"Shut your trap and fight!"
Such negligence was taken advantage of as Reinhard unleashed simultaneous attacks four times in the same time.
Heart, Liver, Solar Plexus, Groin.
Despite the thick metal plates covering her armor, Reinhard's Touki penetrated the defenses of it together with an opposing Touki of Atofe's herself.
This was a Reinhard original technique he created after years of training and with the overwhelming mastery with Healing Magic.
The technique's art focused on striking the pressure points on which Mana flowed throughout a living organisms body.
These attacks inserts Touki directly into the body and cause the Mana inside to destroy the enemy from within.
Reinhard got the idea with his video gaming knowledge of a term called 'Pure Damage', and a disease that directly destroy a human being's celled 'cancer'
By combining with the knowledge of the anatomy of a human/humanoid being's body and a reverse Healing technique made this an extremely dangerous attack. After all it kills the person from the inside.
He called this technique Sword of Life and Death.
Such an attack would have killed person multiple times over, however he was facing an Immortal. It can be said that it was all futile against an Immortal.
Atofe looked like a walking corpse, as her body dismantled like ground meat from the last attack.
She regenerated as she came back to life once again.
Atofe unleashed a viscous kick with her incomplete body.
Reinhard evaded the blow as he stepped back creating distance and regroup with Sylphy.
"Unleashing an attack four times! What a terrific technique you've got there Reinhard Greyrat! It might lack power, but the damage it causes was devastating! You're a promising one!"
"Hmph, say that after you've won."
