Chapter 35: Verenestra
Jason scratches his head for a second and says, "Are you the same Verenestra that is that daughter of the Fairy Queen? The one that is worshiped for charm and beauty?"
Verenestra looks at Jason with a surprised look and says, "Yes I am. You should feel honored. I am a Fairy Princess, and a beautiful one at that,"
Jason says to her, "You can go back. I do not want you. You will just be more trouble than what you are worth." and he turns and starts to walk away. Friday does not say anything and turns with Jason and walks next to him.
Verenestra is shocked that a human just dismissed her so easily, and then she gets mad. She raises a wall of thorns that are about 30 feet tall right in front of Jason. Jason thinks, 'Fire Dragon Roar' and blows fire out of his mouth and destroys the wall of thorns.
Verenestra now completely shocked says, "You human, why do you walk away from me?"
Jason says, "I do not want a fairy flying around with me the kidnaps, raps and then kills young men. I have enough problems without adding you to them."
Verenestra says, "How do you know so much about me?"
Jason stops and turns to her and says, "I read it in a book. Where else do you get information?" like she just asked the dumbest question in the world.
Friday giggles because she knows exactly what Jason is doing.
Verenestra fly's right in front of Jason and smiles. Jason smiles back and says, "Your charm smile does not work on me. You have to have higher intelligence than the person you are trying to charm, and I can tell you this, yours is not higher than either one of us."
Verenestra says to Jason, "You were the one that summoned me here and know you would just send me away? Why did you summon me in the first place?"
Jason says, "I have a spell that allows me to summon a fairy to form a contract with and have them fight on my behalf but, If I would have known it was you, I would not have wasted my time."
Verenestra says, "Am I not pretty enough for you? Do you not like my beauty?"
Jason says, "Your beauty on the outside is perfect. You are probably one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen but, you are a vain, fickle, and a jealous person. Trust me, you would not like to be around me. I am doing you a favor as well."
Verenestra says, "I could be a powerful ally, I could be a powerful and important part of your power."
Jason looks at her and raises an eyebrow and says, "Are you sure about that? Let me show you some of what you would be fighting next to." [Bone Dragon's Undead Army] Jason's whole army shows up in front of Jason bowing their heads. The death dragon Ziemia walks over to Jason and says, "My Liege, shall we take care of the trash for you? We do not wish to dirty your hands, my liege."
Verenestra says to Jason with a shocked and startled look on her face, "Did that dragon just say, 'my liege'? Are you a king in this world?"'
Jason looks at Verenestra with a serious look on his face and says, "Well I did just acquire a castle and a vast piece of land, I have multiple women, I have an endless supply of gold, and I have an army that I feel can conquer a country all by themselves so... Maybe I am a king." Jason then turns to Friday and says, "What do you think about me becoming a king? We can rename the Heartfilia estate to Shinookoku, and our sigil could be a death dragon with black and silver colors."
Friday says, "You have been planning this haven't you?"
Jason raises his hands and says, "You caught me. I have been planning this. Hehehehe"
Friday then says, "Are you sure you want to go with Shinookoku? That is pretty dark. I like it."
Verenestra asks Jason, "What does Shinookoku mean? It sounds pretty. I like it."
Jason says, "The Kingdom of Death. Do you still like it? Hehehehe."
Verenestra gets excited and says, "I love it."
Jason then says, "Well then that can't be the name. We shall call it 'Yosei No Kuni' or the Land of Fairies."
Verenestra looks at Jason and then smiles and says, "You are rather entertaining. I think I will form a contract with you."
Jason says, "No. I'm good. I still don't need you. What can you that would be beneficial to me in order to keep you?"
Verenestra said nothing and light formed under her. Jason received a notification from his system saying, "New Familiar, Verenestra"
Then Verenestra says to Jason, "You summoning me is your part of the contract, me choosing to except is mine. Once you summon me, you no longer have a say in if I stay or go, and I would like to stay."
Jason says, "Fine. But no charming or causing people to become erratic unless I say so."
Verenestra says, "I can agree to that." with an evil smile on her face.
Then Jason says, "No kidnapping either. Or else I will have Ziemia eat you."
Ziemia says, "Oh thank you my liege. I have never tried a fairy before. I look forward to you breaking these rules Verenestra. Hehehehe."
Verenestra clicks her tung. Jason then says [Return to me] and his army disappears. Jason then says, "We should head back to the rest of the girls. They should be done shopping and it is almost time to move into our new castle."
Friday giggles and grabbed his arm. Jason reached out his hand to Verenestra inviting her to take it and says, "We will be teleporting to where the rest of my women are. If you wish to join us then, you must get used to traveling via teleportation. It's not the most fun way to travel but, it is the fastest way."
Verenestra grabs his head and they teleport back to the room. All the girls have returned from their shopping extravaganza and they were all showing Jason what they bought. Even Brandish and Aquarius were excitedly showing Jason what they bought and those two never get excited.
Jason then looks at the stats for Verenestra.
