Chapter 2: The Emptiness Feeling
Alesha brought her gaze to the man's face in disbelief. Seriously, there was no handsome prince on a white horse nowadays, she must be dreaming!
But the man remained in his position, waiting for Alesha to take his hand.
Alesha pinched her cheeks several times, she still did not believe in reality before her. She must have been hallucinating, probably because she had never known such a romantic thing before. So, even in her imagination seemed so real for her. But it was ok, when else could she ride a horse with a handsome prince.
Her hand slowly moved to his hand, but she was about tried to touch the man's hand, the horn of a car was loud enough to deafen Alesha's ears, the handsome man and his white horse disappeared in an instant. That was just a dream. What a beautiful dream.

The car drove to a grand gate that was automatically opened, the car entered through a park filled with various kinds of flowers and beautifully decorated trees. It seemed that the owner of this stately house had taken a keen interest in the nuance of nature.
The car then stopped right before the main door. Without saying anything, Alesha got out of the car and head to her room. Both parents could only smile seeing their daughter's behavior.
Alesha was very cheerful in her daily life, she had never shown a sadness and gloomy face to the others around her, not even once. Even when her dear sister left for India to stay there, this sweet girl remained strong and always smiled even though her heart was broken.
In her parents' eyes, Alesha was like a jewel that would always flash with a ray of happiness. That was why Mr. Irwan loved his youngest daughter. Alesha would be the sole heir to his business empire.
After refreshing her self or nearly half an hour in a bath up, Alesha then stepped out of the bathroom. Her bedroom was so large, it was about 10x12 square meters in size which was completed with all the first-class facilities in it. Her beautiful body only covered in a short towel walked towards the dressing room.
After a few minutes, the girl came out wearing her cute hello kitty blue shirt and knee-length black pants. She was all about casual and boyish clothes, but it even added to her liking.
In front of her vanity, Alesha simply looked at her face, smiling while imaging her dream. After all this time, she had kept her wish in her heart and waited for the right moment to speak up to her parents.
Egypt, Alesha wanted to go there. No matter how many times she had searched for information about that country and had started to learn the language. Books, articles, and other matters of Egypt had been studied. Be a professional translator and could travel around the world made her focus on learning without caring about anything else.
Whereas by his parents' wealth, Alesha could visit any country she liked. Their wealth could even sustain everything. But Alesha seemed indifferent and even she tended to a low profile, she was very generous.
All she could think about was how she could master so many languages in the world so that she could fulfill her wish. And, well, Egypt was her purpose.
"Tok...Tok..!" sound of knocking on the door suddenly brought her to her sense.
"Yes, come in" she replied while applying lotion on her calf and beautiful arm.
A maid opened the door. " Master asked Miss to come to come to his study," She said, bowing respectfully.
"Okay, you may leave. Thank you for telling me." Alesha replied as she returned to smear lotion on the other parts of her body.
"You are welcome, Miss." Replied the maid then left.
Alesha wondered what was wrong with her father, why did he call her to his study? If her father wanted to talk in his office, it meant there was something very serious that would be discussed.
Alesha started to worry, would she get married this soon? Her brain began to think about what was going to happen next, and it made her tense. If anything scary happened, she would be finished.
With hesitant steps and anxiousness, she headed toward his father's office praying silently that what she was thinking might not happen.
The girl knocked at her father's office very slowly, as quietly as she could so that her father would not hear it and let her went back to her room to continue her daydream of Egypt. But unfortunately, Even with such a gentle knock, his 54-years-old father could still hear it.
"Come in," her father's heavy voice sounded inside the study.
Alesha opened the door and headed for the couch where her father was.
"What is going on, Dad. You would rarely call me over here, I get worried." Asked the girl, sitting right next to her father and as usual, her sweet smile was plastered on her lovely face.
"There is nothing to worry about, dear. I just want to tell you something and I hope you do not refuse it," said Mr. Irwan starting the conversation.
Hearing her father's words, Alesha's chest felt like tickling and her heart stopped beating for a moment. After a while, she regained control of her feelings and began asking questions.
"What is it, Dad? I hope that you do not order me to marry. Please dad, I still want to go to college." Hearing her sad voice, Mr. Irwan laughed then stroked his daughter's head affectionately.
"You will not get married so soon dear, you still have a long journey ahead of you. Instead, I want you to go out of the country to continue your study." He replied, staring at his daughter's sparkling eyes. He then continued his sentence.
"I want you to go to England and study there, I have prepared all your needs. All you have to do is study economics and management in your college"
For a moment she felt her heart stop beating again, her chest was tight and it felt hard to breathe. She did not expect to hear that from his father. This could not happen, how could she throw her dream away.
