When sun glazed upon the surface, Mávro woke up. A fish, no bigger than her palm, poked her right feet...feet ? "Oh no, I lost my shoes! Again!" Mávro laughed.It took her only one move with her arms, then she swam right-up. Her head broke through the surface and instantly she felt the warmth of the sun.
While shaking her head she looked around...still near the beach, good. Last time, when she woke up like this, she's been somewhere else, deep in ocean. Her island just a glance at the horizon, so it took her almost half an hour to get back. "Well, at least not this time, right?" She clearly spoke to herself...or maybe to this little fish, who was now poking her right hand. "Go away little fish." She said, her voice friendly although a it annoyed while she tried to wave this one away.
The fish looked up to her ...was a fish even able to show sadness ? Well, this one certainly was, he looked at her like a betrayed puppy, than turned around and swam. Somehow Mávro thought he might come back with his older brothers to beat her up. She laughed again.
Slowly she started to move towards beach, her mind already working on a explanation for her dad...oh, that's gonna be a hard one.
As she reached the beach, as she set the first step on the warm sand, she instantly wanted to return...water was so much better, she felt so strong in it. A stranger with a dog passed, looking at her like she was crazy "Underestimated the waves, took me with them." She said chuckling ...one day this old excuse might wonder someone...
