Chapter 1: Awakening (1)
This is a world where you can awaken spirits' and these spirits can be animals or humanoid figures or even objects. This is a world of competition, war, and a battle between geniuses, this is the world of magic.
Tima, an ordinary figure in a small clan would awaken what would be a one of a kind spirit.
"Tima!! Wake up!!" A cute loli roughly the size of a child spoke aloud in a very childish voice.
"It's time for your awakening!" Suddenly, the loli started shaking the Tima violently.
"I'm awake! I'm awake..." Tima said on the verge of falling back asleep.
Then the loli not only kept on shaking but actually shook harder.
"Ok, fine, I am up for real this time, I'll go," Tima said grumpily.
To awaken one's spirit, one must go to an alter, every clan has one, and although a bigger clan has a more luxurious altar, it will not affect the result of a spirit. Every time a spirit awakening ceremony commences, a large crowd would gather. However, it is known to all that everyone had a level of talent, from 0 - 100. 0 being no talent and impossible to awaken anything and 100 being a peerless genius only seen once in a thousand years if one is lucky, but that does not mean that a level 1 talent cannot get a legendary spirit, it's just incomparably unlikely. There is a unique thing though, and that is about talent, you can only find one's talent after the age of 8 and the awakening ceremony commences at the age of 10.
"Tima!! I hope you get a flying spirit, so then I can fly with you!"
"Well, they did say my talent was above average, but I don't think that my level 24 talent is any good..."
