"Princess, I've been waiting!" The familiarity with which he greeted her unnerved her as Lumielle's face stayed impassive. He was dressed out of his traditional clothes and it surprised her. No wonder women would love to see a glimpse of his face. He was unfairly attractive with his rich crimson eyes and dark hair, the beauty mark underneath his eyes highlighting his ethereal appearance. 

Yet, she could almost smell the blood on him. She could feel it squelching underneath his feet as he dug the blade into the well-deserved Viria. 

"This is His Holiness, Jenoix, the Archbishop," Lumielle said curtsying and placing a hand over her chest. 

Carsynth smiled, "Your Holiness. It is an honor!" He said. Although Lactia and Endora had different religions, she expected Carsynth to reply cordially. It would have been a sin not to. Unlike her father who believed showing disrespect was a sign of kindness.
