Chapter 2: Once upon a time in my future

Somehow two of them found themselves on an isolated island in the middle of nowhere. The chief slaver had broken some vital bones, he was in a bad state but the black man was healthy except from the wounds inflicted on him by the white man. He nursed his enslaver back to health. And every day he would search for the food they were going to eat. So one day, when the enslaver has recovered a little to understand what was going on ,he asked his companion "who are you?" "I was one of your captives", the black man replied after that introduction, they both generally minded their business and searched for wild fruit to eat. one day, the white man asked his former captive "why did you decide to help me? Why didn't you kill me after all the evil things I've done to you and your people?" "it's not my place to punish you for whatever sin you have commited but it's my duty to help another human being in need", The White man was silent for a long time then he said "you are a better human being than me." To which the black man replied "I'm who I'm you are who you are". Soon after that they were rescued by a cargo ship when the ship arrived its destination they both went their separate ways never to see each other again when the white slaver arrived at his own country he resolved to fight against the evil of slavery and slave trade.
