Chapter 2: Chapter 1- Lilly's birthday

On the 1st of November on a Sunday, it was Lilly's birthday. She was turning 11 years today and Max was her best friend had unfortunately forgotten her birthday in the tension of the new grade starting and didn't remember Lilly's B' day as she was getting ready for school tomorrow and wanted to give a boost on her grades to catch up to Lilly's grade because on the last exam that they had, Lilly got 90% and Max got only 84%. Lilly had a great party but she was hoping to see Max because yesterday she said that she wouldn't miss her b' day for the world, Lilly gave her a call quite a few times but she didn't answer any of the calls and didn't even answer any of her messages even though she was online and she had already seen them. Lilly was really angry at Max. The next day Lilly was still mad at max so she ignored her the whole day at school. On the other hand, Max knew that Lilly was mad at her because yesterday after the party ended Lilly's mother called max from Lilly's phone and said that she is really sad and angry at her and then she hung up the phone. Max was sad to hear, and since both of them were middle benchers and sit beside each other in the cafeteria, so she thought that she would forgive her on Monday, but she was the wrong Lilly didn't even sit beside her in the cafeteria, even thou Lilly did sit with her in the class that didn't mean that she would talk to her, Max tried really to patch things up but when Lilly still didn't reply she thought to herself "Maybe if I sang that song to her". At the end of school when they were going home in the bus she sang a song to her that they wrote in 3rd grade called " the friendship song " that she sang to her she turned to the max with a smile on her face and they both continued singing the song in their wonderful voice. A few minutes later after the song ended and they hugged each other max told Lilly that she had, unfortunately, forgot her birthday in the tension of the new grade starting and didn't remember Lilly's Bday as she was getting ready for school Max said: " Do you forgive me ". Lilly replied "It's ok, I was worried that you won't come because last week you said that you won't miss my birthday for the world that's why I was sad and angry.
