Chapter 39: Elegant Scientist
"Dr. Xeno huh? And why would you assume that I hold such a title?" Xeno said when he heard that title out of Raijin's mouth, despite not telling him about his occupation.
"I know because there is only one man to my knowledge that could possibly survive in the stone age, make scientific weapons, and calls everything elegant. That man is you Dr. Xeno." Raijin replied with a smile. He wasn't out of his depression yet, but meeting a character from the canon after all this time lifted his mood a little.
"With such knowledge, who are you? A fan perhaps? No, you wouldn't be talking to me like this if that was the case. Then perhaps an assistant, or someone I helped out at some point?" Xeno continued.
"I am hurt that you don't remember me. I know that it has been a few thousand years, but you should be able to recognize my name at least." Raijin said as he tried to remind him of their time talking together on the internet, which no one would remember after so long if they were awake during their time as stone.
"Raijin? Raijin, Raijin, hmm" Xeno contemplated the name for a while. "Oh! Yes, Raijin Fuyuto! Is that right? You are that annoying child that kept bugging me about waves and magnetic fields right? To think you would be able to wake up from the stone as well." Xeno said after thinking about it. He wasn't a normal person.
"How did you reach such a level of speed? Catching a bullet shouldn't be humanly possible." Xeno asked him.
"Well that would be because I am not human." Raijin replied with a smirk.
"Are you an alien then? Or did you mutate? Perhaps you are a secret race living beneath the earth. Whatever the case, I need you to come with me. I wont sugar coat it, I want to study you." He said and raised his hand.
Another tall, muscular black man walked out from behind another tree, thinking that Raijin couldn't see him. He had a huge machine gun mounted on his arm.
"I could see him the whole time you know. I can see in infrared so he was clear as day to me." Raijin said nonchalantly, surprising Xeno at the fact that he didnt react to the gun.
"You may be able to catch a bullet, however catching hundreds of them at a time is physically impossible for a living creature, even for most machines. So don't be stupid and arrogant, simply come with us." Stanly said as he also pointed his gun.
They weren't being dense bad guys right now, they knew for a fact that Raijin couldn't catch them all. They had seen that his reaction, although fast, was delayed by an amount that definitely couldn't catch or dodge hundreds of bullets moving at the same speed.
"You are right, I probably cant dodge them. But I'm still not going with you." He said as put his hands in his pockets and looked at them with a smirk.
Stanly simply aimed and fired, with no hesitation. The moment he fired, the muscular man also fired. They knew it probably wouldn't kill him and would only injure him, so they didnt hesitate. But Raijin simply stood there, smiling at them. Hundreds of bullets shot him all at once and punctured his skin.
He started to bleed from every one of his bullet wounds, which was a lot of bleeding. Less then a second later though, he took a deep breath and started smiling again. The bleeding stopped and the bullets were each pushed out of his body. He then looked directly at their shocked faces and threw his arms up, getting into the JoJo pose that Joseph takes with his hands behind his head.
Suddenly, a golden aura appeared around him and sparks flickered across his body. His bullet wounds visibly started to heal, not at a crazy speed, but the wounds weren't that deep, so it would only take about ten minutes to heal.
"This should take a little while, so why don't I entertain you guys while it does its thing." Raijin said as he pulled out a guitar. He had made many instruments over the past year, such as a new violin and piano, a guitar, a small set of drums, and a clarinet. He kept them on a backpack Freddy carried. Freddy was also looking at Xeno and the others with clear arrogance in his eyes.
He also took out his drums and set them up in front of him. Xeno and the others had no idea what was going on so they just stood there and watched the glowing man set up musical equipment with the help of a giant bear.
Raijin sat down and gabbed his guitar. He then created two small hamon arms that grabbed the drum sticks and he started to tap his foot. He started playing the drums first. The he started the guitar and eventually started grunting Hu, Hua, Ha. He also started mimicking other noises with his mouth, so a lot more instruments were playing then what was shown.

Now you may be thinking he is playing the Skyrim theme, and you are right, however that is not all. He was also playing every other elderscrolls song at the same time, making it sound like one of the most adrenalin inducing songs of all time. (Look up Elder scrolls theme mashup on YouTube, its the first one.)
The song was beautiful, so all of them ended up standing there in a trance. It was probably the most beautiful music they had ever hear. It was elderscrolls music, so this made sense. Even Xeno and Stanly, who were always calm, were stunned by the song. The dark skinned man even shed a single tear. Also, he was infusing hamon into it, so they were brainwashed into thinking that it was the most beautiful song they had ever heard.
Before they knew it, ten minutes had passed, and Raijin was fully healed. He stopped playing and stood up again, forcing the men out of their trance.
"Alright, well I survived the bullets, so what are you going to do now? You could just not try to kill me and maybe, research my body WITH my permission, instead of against my will. I know, it sounds crazy." Raijin said sarcastically.
"Listen kid! A monster like you cannot just walk around in our base and expect us to be fine with it!" Stanly said before Xeno could reply.
Raijin simply smiled at that. "Okay then, what do you propose we do. I cant leave as I am waiting for something, and you seem to be to weak to make me, so what are you going to do?"
"What are you waiting for?" Asked another muscular side character that walked out of the trees.
"Why would he tell us that dumbass?" Said another interrupting character.
"In a few months someone will arrive here, so I need to be ready for them. Besides, its not like you own the entirety of LA, so I can go wherever I want." Raijin said as he smirked at them.
They weren't expecting him to actually tell them, so they were a little surprised.
"In this stone world, nobody owns anything. And that is the reason why I will! With the power of my elegant science, I can and will take over this world. Once I make more powerful weapons, your power will become obsolete. So why don't you take this opportunity to join me." Xeno said with graceful movement, and did the Polnareff pose.
'Holy Shit! Did Xeno just do a JoJo pose?' Raijin thought as he stared at him with curiosity. 'He shouldn't have any urge to do that, actually, he shouldn't even be able to. I am pretty sure JoJo characters can only do those because they have huge muscles that hold them up in whatever ridiculous position they are in, and Xeno definitely doesn't have enough muscles. So how did he do that?'
"Sorry, but I haven't even shown a thousandth of what I can really do, so even if you had military fighter jets, you still wouldn't win." Raijin stated matter of factly, "But I'm cool with joining you."
Xeno looked at him in surprise, but then narrowed his eyes. "That was too easy, so there is a condition right? Let me guess, you want to be equals right?"
'How the hell did he know that? Whatever, doesn't matter. He is a Dr. Stone scientist, so I will just attribute it to that.' Raijin had forgotten Xeno's insane mental abilities. "You are exactly right. I want to be on equal terms with you, meaning no one can boss me around. Of course, I won't boss others around either, but I will beat up anyone who annoys me." Raijin stated, then looked at Freddy, "Oh yeah, I also want a place for my bear."
Xeno stood there and pondered for a minute, probably thinking over the terms and looking for loopholes. However, his thoughts will not be shown, as the author isn't smart enough to write them.
After about five minutes, Xeno finally nodded to himself and spoke up. "These are agreeable, however, I have my own terms." Raijin raised an eyebrow. "You have to allow me to study your body, and if not that, then the golden glow you used earlier. I also want to study the bear."
"I will show you ripple, however, my body is off limits. And if you want to study Freddy, go right ahead. But I warn you, if he tries to eat you, I wont stop him, and I don't think you can stop him, so I would suggest against it." Raijin said with a slightly tired voice. He was already getting tired of talking and he had just started negotiations.
"Ripple? Is that what the golden energy is called? Good, I would love to study that. As for the bear, I will leave him be for now." Xeno accepted the terms, and showed obvious excitement at being able to study hamon.
"great! Now take me to your base, I would rather sleep there then a camp." Raijin said rudely, and Xeno obliged.
'God damn, acting arrogant is tiring. How do those young masters in wuxia do it? I need to rest now, probably for longer then I normally do. But it was worth it, now Xeno is my ally and he wont think that I am soft enough to manipulate.' Raijin thought as they made their way to the castle/factory thing Xeno lives in.
