Chapter 28: Alchemy Saint Wulong
Ravin experienced completely magical feeling as the second he touched the Inheritance Crystal, a figure appeared inside his mind from out of nowhere . Raven was not startled but still fascinated by the means of powerful experts.
The figure was that of an old man with long white beard . Different from normal peers , he had deep eyes that seemed to contain some profound knowledge and secrets . Raven had no choice but to guess that this must be the owner of the Ingeritance Crystal . The figure inside his consciousness was not a mere illusion but soul of the expert which he had sealed inside the Inheritance Crystal .
" Hmm.. Young Man , you surprised me because I thought you would feel at least a little bit scared considering your pitiful cultivation but you are calm which is a good trait . Alright , this piece of my soul will dissipate even if I do nothing in at most on hour so let's get started .
First remember my name Wulong and others preferred to call me Alchemy Saint Wulong . "
Raven was shocked by this relegation because he had actually heard of this figure . Raven being interested in professions like Alchemy was deeply attracted to the name Wulong after reading about the little knowlege about his achievements inside the book .
Alchemy Guild was a huge organisation that had branches all over the five regions. There were many levels to Alchemists meaning their ranks and Akchemy Saint is the highest rank one can achieve in this world . They had peerless knowledge of alchemy but to become a Saint an Alchemist had to successfully refine Level 9 pills which required the cultivation realm to be Martial God . Thus they were also peerless experts who preferred to battle using Essence Fire Arts . Essence Fire are the magical fire possessing consciousness who have extreme prowess and the only way to absorb them is to first make the fire submit to the cultivator . This was a task of unimaginable difficulty for current Raven and he would only start thinking about obtaining his own Essence Fire after reaching way higher Realms . Raven could not believe his luck that the random Token he looted actually was connected to such a huge opportunity.
" Hehe.. young man , you managing to enter this space is your Talent as even with luck if you found the only Token Key but lack the qualifications then you would have been never able to locate the Formation much less activate the Token . The qualification to inherit my Knowledge was simple . One just had to possess extremely strong Divine Sense much higher than their actual cultivation. After saying this , Wulong suddenly quivered and bright light suddenly shot out of his forehead which struck Raven's soul in an instant . Raven being immune to pain only felt uncomfortable because he could see the tear appearing in his soul . But soon the soul managed to heal itself to the optimum state. Still the tickling sensation continued to intensify with time and Old Man Wulong's soul figure became dimmer and dimmer like he was going disappear any second now . But he had a huge grin on his face because Raven somehow did not flinch and managed to assimilate all his inheritance. For the old man , it was most important to make sure that his heritage would be passed down to future generations and he even tore his own soul to seal it inside the Inheritance Crystal . So he was naturally happy to see it happening and had no time to guess the reason behind Raven's bizarre soul . Soul is the most delicate thing so it was extremely strange that Raven did not even flinch after suffering the pressure of his own powerful soul for such a long time . He would have been intrigued if his main body was alive but after the seal unlocked, he could not sense his other soul which could only mean that he must have died . But he had no regrets as his remaining soul completely vanished after about an hour but he managed to pass away with a smile on his face .
Raven felt conflicted emotions right now because he could feel that his soul had become more than five times stronger than before and much foreign knowlege could be retrieved anytime . But he felt sad because he did not even manage to have a small talk with his master who appeared like wind and vanished quickly without a trace .
" Master , thank you for your teachings . " Raven could only utter these words in a whisper while running away towards the Spatial Portal that had appeared once again .
He had no choice to run because the space had started collapsing and behind him the previous green was quickly being replaced by darkness . He soon jumped into the portal with full speed and just then the space fully collapsed like it had never even existed before.
