Chapter 4: First Mission
"My name is Axxel..?" He said. While he was in deep thought, the girl came back to the hut a few minutes after he woke up.
"Ah, I'm back, my uncle called me to help out in the field." She said while sweating and slightly breathing heavily. He stared at her for a second before asking. She had brown hair that reached down to her elbows, while she was also wearing a grey shirt made of cotton.
"These bandages, did you do this?" he said while pointing at his shoulder. "Ah, no my uncle did that. You should come with me to thank him later, otherwise, it would be rude," she said in a joking manner. He never had a chance to meet her uncle, so he thought that it would be a good idea.
While those two were laughing, all of a sudden a man could be heard yelling.
"Arghh!! Shadow panthers! Everybody run!" he shouted while running. Although Axxel couldn't see anything behind him, so he was confused. "Shadow panthers? What is he talking about?" Axxel questioned looking confused. Before he had the chance to even figure out what was happening, the entire village was in a panic.
"Shadow panthers, it's not safe inside the hut where they're shadows!" She exclaimed with a serious look on her face. "Stay outside in the light until I go get my father, he can use light magic," she told him with her hand on his shoulder before running off into the distance.
"Shadow panthers..? Okay," he said. When he left the hut and looked around, everything felt ancient to him. 'This place is very underdeveloped compared to my world.' he thought before he heard a woman yelling.
"MY CHILD IS MISSING!" she shouted from a distance. Everybody hesitated for a second before continuing to get their children to safety. Axxel thought that how they were ignoring the woman in distress was cruel, he also had to take into consideration that this was different from his planet. Back on Earth, there were no shadow panthers or light magic.
While he was thinking about the whole situation and how it happened so fast, he felt a chilling gaze from behind him. All the hairs on his body stood up, and when he looked behind him, he fell down, and was about to start panicking, when-

All of a sudden, Axxel went from about to panic, to unusually calm. Regaining his footing, now he could carefully inspect what was in front of him. It was a panther that was at least 2 times its normal size with black fur and dark neon green eyes. It also had a dark purple aura around it and it was emanating a dangerous feeling. While Axxel was holding his ground, he realized that he was absolutely no match for the shadow panther. So just to be sure, he said "System can you show me the stats of this shadow panther," hoping it would work. And to his surprise,

Axxel was surprised, but what intrigued him the most was the last sentence in the details. 'Low-leveled humans? Does that mean people have levels and skills too?' he thought. But he couldn't test his theory just yet.
"Inspect," he said while staring at his arm.

Axxel was definitely impressed by his mana pool and speed, "What is beast transformation?" he mumbled. 'Welp, it says it's locked, so there's no point in worrying about it' he thought. "Since my agility is higher than the shadow panthers, maybe I can use hit and run tactics," he said while staring at the iron hoe to his left next to someone's home. "Sorry whoever's hoe I'm about to use, but I kind of still want to live soo.." he said to in his head.
"Inspect," he thought in his head before saying, to his surprise, it worked.

[Details: I don't think this should be used for hurting people...]
Axxel picked up the iron hoe, and firmly grasped it while pointing it at the shadow panther. 'Now that I have this my attack is higher than the panthers' he thought in his head as he let out a laugh. When he got into his stance, before he lunged at the panther, and a window popped up in front of him. After looking at it he started to laugh even more.

'This is gonna be fun' he said in his head while laughing.
